Comic Book Creator Kate Leth Attacks Actor James Woods Calls Him a “Bigoted S***bag”

Comic book creator Kate Leth attacked actor James Woods via Twitter describing him as a “bigoted s***bag.”

Leth has done work a number of comic book companies including Marvel Comics, Dynamite Entertainment, IDW Entertainment, and Boom! Studios. She recently worked on Marvel’s [easyazon_link identifier=”1302900358″ locale=”US” tag=”boundingintocomics-20″]Patsy Walker AKA Hellcat[/easyazon_link] which ended its series in April of 2017. She’s also done cover art for Marvel’s Unbeatable Squirrel Girl.

According to her website she also states she’s “a regular contributor to Hasbro animation properties such as My Little Pony: Equestria Girls (on the Discovery Family app and YouTube), Littlest Pet Shop: A World of Our Own (to begin Fall 2018) and plenty more yet to be announced.” She has also done work for Cartoon Network writing an episode for Craig of the Creek. Leth recently worked on Transformers: Cyberverse that debuted on Cartoon Network in September last year.

Woods for his part is a veteran actor who gave voice to Hades in Disney’s animated Hercules film. He reprises that role in the newly released Kingdom Hearts III game. He also voices Lex Luthor in the Justice League Action series. He’s also given voice to Owlman in Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths. Woods also starred in John Q and The Virgin Suicides.

But maybe Woods’ biggest claim to fame right now is the fact that he’s an outspoken Republican on Twitter who regularly mocks Democrats and individuals on the left of the political spectrum.

It’s unclear why Leth decided to attack Woods, but it more than likely has to do with Kingdom Hearts 3 and Woods reprising his role as Hades.

Woods isn’t the only person Leth has targeted. Last year, she targeted Marvel Studios and specifically Avengers: Infinity War describing it as the “worst party ever.” Her reasoning? She stated, “400 characters in Infinity War and not a single canon queer.”

What do you make of Leth’s attack on James Woods? Do you think it was called for?
