DC Expands Partnership with Wal-Mart – Announces DC Collectibles Batman: Black and White Mini-Figure Statue Line

DC Comics announced they are expanding their partnership with Wal-Mart with a brand new line of statues. This new line of statues is part of their Batman: Black and White line. They will specifically be revisiting a number of their popular 9″ designs from the line and transforming them into 4″ mini-figures.

The line will include designs from Jim Lee, Bruce Timm, Amanda Conner, Darwyn Cooke, Jason Fabok, Frank Quietely, Patrick Gleason and more.

“BATMAN: BLACK AND WHITE is DC Collectibles’ longest-running statue line and continues to be one of our best-sellers,” said Jim Fletcher, executive creative director at DC Collectibles. “The line allows us to work with a wide array of talented artists from different industries, and we’re really excited to revisit our favorite designs in this all-new 4″ scale!”

These Wal-Mart exclusive figures will be packaged in “exclusive, individual blind bag[s]” and will be positioned right next to DC’s Comic Giants exclusive Wal-Mart line. New figures are expected to be released every other month in waves of six.
