Fantasty Soft Stands Behind Vic Mignogna: “It Is Innocent Until Proven Guilty, Not The Other Way Around”

Fantasy Soft Entertainment issued a public statement in support of Vic Mignogna, unequivocally stating that “It is innocent until proven guilty, not the other way around.”

Fantasy Soft Entertainment issued their statement on February 7th.

It reads:

“Concerning all of the allegations against Vic Mignogna and Todd Haberkorn, we’ve decided to stand with them until we see concrete evidence of wrongdoing. To our knowledge, there are zero police reports and zero formal complaints. Until then, Vic and Todd will always have a home here at Fantasy Soft Entertainment. No matter how big or small we’ll become, we will stand up for our employees and won’t thrown them under the bus.

It is innocent until proven guilty, not the other way around.”

Fantasy Soft Entertainment is an entertainment company that creates animated television shows, short films, video games, comics, and more. Mignogna gave voice to Prince Nai Tehuti in Fantasy Soft Entertainment’s Prince Adventures: Annointed. It was an animated short that debuted in May 2015. The project was successfully crowdfunded by Fantasy Soft Entertainment on IndieGoGo.

The studio is currently working on a television series called Prince Adventures which is set in the same universe as the animated short. The show is currently in pre-production with 13 seasons and 91 episodes planned.

The official description for the series reads:

“The Trinity, three humal brothers, Prince Han, Nai and Akil Tehuti, are chosen by God to stop Lord Satan’s plans for world and possibly universal domination.”

On February 17th, Fantasy Soft Entertainment confirmed Mignogna was still part of the project that will be a Potarii Original Series.

They’ve been sharing a number of screen shots of the project on their Twitter feed.

Here’s a sample:

Mignogna found himself in the middle of controversy after he was accused of sexual misconduct. Funimation would fire Mignogna removing him from Morose Monokean II and announcing they would not work with him on other projects. Mignogna gave voice to Broly in Funimation’s Dragon Ball Super: Broly film.

WarnerMedia’s Rooster Teeth would also replace Vic Mignogna in RWBY.

Mignogna has denied the allegations, but in his most recent public statement on Twitter he revealed he was seeking counseling and recommitting his life to God.

“I have identified areas in which I need growth, and am taking this time to recommit to God and seeking the help of a counselor. I am committed to putting every effort into improving not only for myself, but for everyone I interact with. Each of you deserves nothing less.”

Not only has Mignogna been fired, but his supporters have also been threatened with arrest by Pensacon, a comic book convention that takes place in Pensacola, Florida. They would double down on their threat to arrest Mignogna supporters in a lengthy Facebook post. They would even revoke the press pass from YouTuber Geeks and Gamers following a video critical of Pensacon’s threats against their own convention attendees.

What do you make of Fantasy Soft Entertainment’s stance? Do you agree with them and in their support of Vic Mignogna?
