HBO Releases First Game of Thrones Season 8 Trailer – Watch It Here!

HBO released the first trailer for Season 8 of Game of Thrones. This will be the final season of Game of Thrones.
Take a look:
Honestly, the trailer is a little underwhelming. It shows us what we all kind of already know. The people of Westeros, the Unsullied, and basically all of humanity prepare for a showdown against the Night King and his seemingly never ending forces of White Walkers.
There are hints that some palace intrigue might still be at play as Lena Headey’s Cersei Lannister smiles coyly at the camera in a couple of shots.
In fact, it appears there might even be an even greater division between Cersei and her brother Jamie as we do get a bit of dialogue from Jamie where he states, “I promise to fight for the living. I intend to keep that promise.”
Game of Thrones follows a wide array of characters as they struggle to claim the Iron Throne and become King or Queen of Westeros. However, claiming the Iron Throne might actually be the easy part. Maintaining it seems to be much more difficult as numerous people have sat on the throne in the previous seven seasons only to die or get murdered.
Obtaining and keeping control of the Iron Throne might actually be a secondary objective in Season 8 as the Night King and his vast forces of White Walkers which now include one of Daenerys Targaryen’s dragons plans on conquering all of humanity.
Will humanity be able to put aside their differences and face down this looming threat?
