Sony Pictures dropped the second trailer for the James Gunn produced BrightBurn.

Take a look.

Here’s the official description of the film, which sounds a whole lot like a reverse take on Superman.

“What if a child from another world crash-landed on Earth, but instead of becoming a hero to mankind, he proved to be something far more sinister?”

Sony describes the film as a “subversive take on a radical new genre: superhero horror.”

BrightBurn is directed by David Yaovesky from a script written by Mark Gunn and Brian Gunn. The film is produced by James Gunn and Kenneth Huang.

The film stars Elizabeth Banks, David Denman, Jackson A. Dunn, Matt Jones, and Meredith Hagner.

BrightBurn comes to theaters on May 24, 2019.

What did you think of the trailer? Do you plan on seeing BrightBurn?
