A new Chinese Pokemon Detective Pikachu trailer shows off a massive Gyarados as he faces off against Pikachu and a Charizard.
Take a look.
As you can see at the end of the trailer, Gyarados is unleashed and he spews a ton of water out of his mouth washing away Pikachu, Charizard, and Tim. It’s unclear what move Gyarados is using, but it’s possible it could be Hydro Pump or Water Gun. My money is that it’s Hydro Pump.
The trailer is really missing Surfing Pikachu. He should be riding that Hydro Pump wave like a champ!
Pokemon Detective Pikachu stars Ryan Reynolds as Detective Pikachu, Just Smith as Tim Goodman, Ken Watanabe as Detective Yoshida, and Suki Waterhouse as Lucy. The movie is directed by Rob Letterman based off a screenplay by Dan Hernandez, Benji Samit, Rob Letterman and Derek Connolly.
Detective Pikachu hits theaters on May 10th.
