EPIC New Thanos Statue Shows Off His Deadly Double Bladed Sword and Full Battle Regalia!

A brand new Thanos statue from Sideshow Collectibles and Iron Studios shows off the Mad Titan’s deadly new double bladed sword and a fully functional Infinity Gauntlet.

As you can see in the photos below Thanos’ new sword is almost as tall as the Mad Titan myself. Not only is the Mad Titan wielding this deadly new weapon and in his full battle armor, but he also has a fully functional Infinity Gauntlet.

In fact, much like what we saw in Avengers: Infinity War, the Infinity Stones can actually light up with LED lights indicating Thanos is using the power of the Infinity Gauntlet and the Infinity Stones. However, the statue does come with an interchangeable left arm without the Infinity Gauntlet equipped.

It’s also interesting to note that Thanos appears to be leaping off a pile of lava. In fact, his left leg appears to be firmly on top of the lava as he prepares to leap into battle.

Sideshow indicates the statue is based on original 3D references from Avengers: Endgame indicating it’s more than likely we will see Thanos wielding this mighty weapon in the movie.

The statue is 14.1″ tall with a 5.5″ width, and a 10.2″ depth. It weighs 4.4 lbs. It comes with a die cast sword, the LED light-up Infinity Gauntlet and an interchangeable left arm and portrait.

Take a look at Thanos in all his glory.

As we saw in the most recent clip from Avengers: Endgame, the Avengers are planning an attack with Captain Marvel to go after Thanos after they discovered he still using the Infinity Stones.

It’s unclear why Thanos would once again be using the Infinity Stones as he had seemingly hung up his armor at the end of Avengers: Infinity War and appeared to go into a deep state of meditation. It’s possible he was still able to access the Infinity Stones and discovered the one future using the Time Stone, where the Avengers could defeat him. He might be taking pro-active steps and decided to wade back into battle in order to ensure his victory is complete.

He’s more than likely wearing the armor because he knows he is vulnerable to Thor’s Stormbreaker. It’s possible the armor can deflect Stormbreaker’s deadly assault.

What do you make of this statue and this look at Thanos’ deadly double-bladed sword and the detail in his armor?
