Hellboy Actress Milla Jovovich Responds to Extremely Bad Reviews: “It’s F****** Hilarious!”

Hellboy actress Milla Jovovich responded to the absolutely brutal reviews for her and actor David Harbour’s Hellboy movie.

Jovovich took to Instagram to describe the negative reviews as “f****** hilarious!”

Jovovich would list out a number of her films that have gone on to become cult hits like Dazed and Confused, The Fifth Element, Resident Evil, and Zoolander. She would declare that Hellboy will be on too, “Anyway, every one of those films is now a cult classic. EVERY. SINGLE. ONE. And this will be too. Mark my words.”

She then went on to list out why the film would be a cult classic:

“Because of the amazing actors. David Harbour. Ian Mcshane. Daniel Dae Kim. Sasha Lane. They are all so damn wonderful and talented, the movie is worth seeing just because they’re in it.”

She would continue:

“Mike Mignola who created the #Hellboy comics helped write the script and was on set every single day to make this film as close to his vision as possible.”

She added:

“It was directed by one of the greats. #NeilMarshall who brought us “The Descent”. One of the greatest horror movies ever. Trust me, you’re gonna have a blast watching the new @hellboymovie.”

As of this writing Hellboy has a 15% Tomatometer rating from critics and a 63% Audience Score.

The film has gone down in flames at the box office only bringing in $12.9 million so far. It had a $12 million opening weekend. The film was expected to bring in $20 million on opening weekend and $50 million over the course of its entire run.

What do you make of Jovovich’s response to the negative criticism? Do you think Hellboy will be a cult classic or will it be a forgettable comic adaptation that will fall into obscurity?
