After Avengers: Endgame Fan Creates Poster for New Avengers!

Following the events of Avengers: Endgame, a fan created a poster for the New Avengers and the team he envisions leading the way in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

For those who have not seen Avengers: Endgame yet, the final 30 minutes or so of the film provides closure for a number of the original Avengers including Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, and Hawkeye.

In those closure scenes there are also some passing of the torch moments. Thor puts Valkyrie in charge of the Asgardian people and New Asgard. Meanwhile Captain America gives Sam WIlson aka Falcon his iconic Captain America shield. It’s shield Rogers took from the past as the one Tony Stark returned to Rogers in Endgame was battered and broken during his fight with Thanos.

The fan showcases just who he believes will be the New Avengers. He showcases Ant-Man, Wasp, Scarlet Witch, Doctor Strange, Black Panther, Captain Marvel, Spider-Man, Sam Wilson as Captain America, and War Machine.

Here’s a better look:

There is no Iron Man. Tony Stark’s use of the Infinity Gauntlet took its toll on his body and eventually killed him. Steve Rogers was an old man by the end of Avengers: Endgame and handed his shield over to Sam Wilson. Thor chose to hand over Asgard to Valkyrie and decided to go his own way. Hawkeye returned to the comforts of his family. Hulk was last scene at Tony’s funeral with a cast on his arm. It’s more than likely he returned to continuing his scientific endeavors. Black Widow sacrificed herself so Hawkeye could obtain the Soul Stone.

Other major Avengers characters not depicted are Winter Soldier, Shuri, and Okoye. It’s unclear what Bucky Barnes’ role will be moving forward, but it’s more than likely he will be sharing duties with Sam Wilson as the two are slated to appear in the Disney+ show The Falcon and Winter Soldier.

It’s quite possible Black Panther might be the only one to serve double duty as an Avenger and Wakandan, but both Shuri and Okoye fought in the war against Thanos in both Infinity War and Endgame.

It’s also more than likely that Marvel Studios plans to introduce Kate Bishop and She-Hulk. Both have been rumored to appear on Disney+ shows with Bishop’s character being mentored by Jeremy Renner’s Hawkeye and She-Hulk coming into her own alongside Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk.

What do you make of this New Avengers team? Do you think this will be the team moving forward in the Marvel Cinematic Universe or do you think we will see multiple teams with the possibility of including the West Coast Avengers, Dark Avengers, The Ultimates, Secret Avengers, Illuminati, and Excalibur.
