Star Wars and Disney’s Winnie the Pooh Voice Actor Jim Cummings Accused of Sexual Assault and Animal Abuse

Winnie the Pooh and Disney voice actor Jim Cummings has been accused of sexual assault and animal abuse by his ex-wife Stephanie Cummings.
Cummings has voiced an assortment of animated characters that include Winnie the Pooh, Mickey Mouse villain Pete, Tigger, Wormwood, Rex, and Goodwyn in Sofia the First, Hammerhead, Ghost, and Vulture Force in the animated Spider-Man TV series, Star Wars’ Hondo Ohnaka, Darkwing Duck, and many, many more.
Accusations of Sexual Assault
The Blast reports, Cummings, who has also voiced Tigger and Mickey Mouse villain, Pete, that his ex-wife Stephanie claims that Jim “has engaged in physical, sexual and emotional abuse including but not limited to death threats, rape, and various sexual deviant behavior forced upon me without my consent.”
Stephanie indicated this alleged abuse occurred after the two divorced in 2011. The documents appear to be from court proceedings regarding Jim and Stephanie Cummings’ two minor daughters Johanna and Lulu.
The report indicates Stephanie claims to have obtained two different restraining orders against Jim Cummings for domestic violence. She claims Jim arrived at her home on August 31, 2011 and slapped her on the butt, and then forced himself on her. She notes this all occurred in front of their 4-year-old daughter.
She says, “He later came up behind me, grabbed my arm, spun me around, and forcefully put his hand on the back of my neck and kissed me while holding me in place against the wall.” She added that Jim asked if she could “see him leaking, because that’s what I make him do when he touches me.” She indicated she was “humiliated and degraded.”
Jim says he remembers the encounter differently. He said he was “joking and laughing” with Stephanie. He then notes, “I touched her slightly on the butt.” He adds that Stephanie gave him a consensual hug and that “the whole incident was happy.” He said his ex-wife “who is much taller than I am, and a large woman, made no objection to anything.”
In a separate incident, Stephanie claims she was raped by Jim in 2013. She claims she filed a police report. After the alleged rape, she said she entered rehab for “co-dependency.” Jim allegedly showed up to the facility and was asked to leave.
She also says that Jim would “without consent, would touch my buttocks, my groin, and my breasts. He would hold me in place attempting to kiss and fondle me. He would spank me in front of our daughters. He would then follow up by making sexual comments to me that I found repugnant.”
The Blast claims Jim described Stephanie’s claims in an email as “distortions.” He even described them as “obscene.” He added:
“Forcing’? Please, everyone, Gracie myself and especially YOU were all giggling and laughing, it was pleasant to have one moment of light-heartedness. We both erupted into laughter…I’m hardly the first person in the world to point out one ‘catches more flys [sic] with honey than vinegar’ for you to overlay a reference to being a whore is little too telling, Let’s get this over with for the love of God.”
Stephanie also claims that Jim would withhold support payments and “demand sex from me in exchange for meeting his support obligations.” She claims that in 2015, while at her home, her date, an off-duty police officer, pulled his gun on Jim in order to make him leave.
However, in 2017 Stephanie had moved to Utah with her two children. During a visit Jim asked to stay at the house and she allowed it. She notes during the visit Jim performed a sexual act on her using her own hand while their 10-year-old daughter at the time was in the room.
She explained, “I told him to stop and get out of the house. He refused. He then came back and did the same thing, insisting I [perform a sex act on] him or he would wake Lulu up. I did as he asked given his threat to wake up my daughter and my worry that I could not control what he would do in front of her.” Stephanie indicates this incident is when she got the second restraining order against Jim. The order was issued against him for two years.
Accusations of Drug Abuse
She also indicates that Jim abused alcohol, marijuana, and Adderall. She claims his drug abuse was the primary reason for their divorce. She claims that Jim has checked himself into rehab facilities on multiple occasions. In fact, she claims that he was “kicked out because he was using Adderall.” She also indicates he showed up at her home “uninvited while intoxicated or high on Adderall” between 2012 and 2018.
Jim denied the allegations and indicated that Stephanie is the one who has a history of drug abuse:
“I entered that rehab facility voluntarily. However, Petitioner’s claim that it was a binge on alcohol, marijuana and Adderall is another exaggeration as I have never taken Adderall… Petitioner, however, has had a long standing [sic] history of drug abuse. On the day that Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans, Petitioner and I mutually agreed to check into a rehabilitation facility.”
He did admit that his substance abuse was “primarily Vicodin as well as alcohol.”
Accusations of Animal Abuse
Not only does his ex-wife accuse him of sexual assault and drug abuse, but she also claims that he abused the family’s puppy. She claims after the dog peed on the carpet, Jim “took the dog and placed it inside a metal bucket outside of the house on a day which it was over 100 degrees, then left it there for a long time.” She stated, “The dog came close to dying.”
Jim claims he did discipline the dog, but it was based on their vet’s suggestion:
“There was an incident where I put a ‘tub’ (not a metal bucket) over a dog to isolate it briefly as a form of discipline to its behavior at our vet’s suggestion, and unfortunately I forgot the dog was there for a while, but then of course I released it.”
He went on to add that he took the dog to the vet after the incident and it was healthy.
However, Stephanie also claims Jim took a broom a hit the puppy with it. She claims, “He shattered the puppy’s hip necessitating surgery.”
On Going Court Battle
Jim recently testified for two days during the ongoing dispute with his ex-wife. During his testimony he stated, “She will have outbursts of hostility directed at me, and often change in her behavior and attitude comes without warning.”
He also said that she threatened his career with Disney, “I will go and I will ruin your reputation … I am going to tell people Winnie the Pooh is a woman beating, drug addicted freak!”
Stephanie has also gone after Jim’s current girlfriend Peggy Schinke, who was previously a prostitute that worked for Hollywood madam Heidi Fleiss. Schinke’s testimony was crucial in the Fleiss criminal case. Stephanie stated, “Winnie the Pooh lives with a whore, pays a whore to pretend to be his girlfriend, rapes and abuses the mother of his kids.”
She also claims that Jim has referred to their children as “n-word babies” and claims he has tried to get her to commit suicide. He also described Jim as a “much smaller version of Harvey Weinstein.”
