Jessica Rabe, actress Lexi Rabe’s mother, reports her daughter is being bullied. Lexi Rabe played the daughter of Tony Stark and Pepper Potts, Morgan Stark, in Avengers: Endgame. She gave us the iconic phrase, “I love you 3000!”
Jessica Rabe posted to Lexi’s Instagram account and wrote, “Yet again Lexi’s getting bullied.” Rabe goes on to state, “Please keep your opinions to yourself so Lexi can grow up in the free world. She’s a normal human being and she’s a child.”
Lexi also asked in the video, “Please don’t bully my family or me. Bye! Love you 3000!”
Following the initial post, Lexi’s mother would follow it up with a meme of Robert Downey Jr. that reads, “Protect a Child. Say No To Bullying! Stay Off Our Page If You’re A Bully!”
In the post Jessica writes, “THANKS for ALL your SUPPORT! If you see someone saying unkind things….PLEASE report their account to Instagram . It takes a village!”
While Jessica doesn’t provide any specifics of the bullying she has received, she does allude to fans griping about not getting autographs or how Jessica is raising Lexi.
However, MovieWeb reports that Lexi Rabe has received harassment from Marvel Cinematic Universe fans because of the “whitewashing of Ironheart.”
They write, “Some MCU fans are angry with her for things that are out of her control (like the possible whitewashing of Ironheart), which doesn’t stop them from leaving offensive messages on her social media accounts.”
It’s unclear if there is any validity to this report as MovieWeb does not provide any examples.
There are a number of Twitter users who appear upset that Morgan Stark could take Riri Williams’ place in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. However, they don’t appear to direct their comments towards Rabe.
y’all actually want morgan stark to take tony’s place instead of riri williams???? pic.twitter.com/6Z9sXqXhVy

Not only are some people upset about Morgan Stark potentially replacing an as yet to be introduced Riri Williams in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but certain fans have expressed their concern about Ironheart being white washed in the recently released animated short Marvel Rising: Heart of Iron.
@Marvel_Rising why did you lighten Riri Williams. You’re a children show & you’re pushing colorist imagery onto little black girls. Riri’s comics image was perfectly fine. This is sickening. pic.twitter.com/BV3avGLSVx

I see that they didn’t budget for an artist who could animate Riri Williams’ hair properly.
Cuz the other guess is that the artist made an assumption that she was white, but had to be re-colored in post-production. Then again, even her voice actress’s hair is kinky…. https://t.co/VM7RzgjwpL

Riri Williams has kinky/curly hair and full lips. It’s important. Why change that? https://t.co/IVF0OQl6UC

What do you make of this report that Lexi Rabe is being bullied? Why do you think people are allegedly bullying her?
