Report: Liam Hemsworth Camp Cites Infidelity For Split With Miley Cyrus, Her Camp Claims It Was His Drug Abuse

The Hunger Games star Liam Hemsworth and his wife Miley Cyrus recently announced they were splitting and the mudslinging from both camps appears to have already begun.

According to a report from TMZ, sources from Liam Hemsworth’s camp are claiming that Miley Cyrus was cheating on him. However, they also report that sources from inside Miley’s camp claim Hemsworth was “drinking a lot and using certain drugs.” They also note that she attempted to save the marriage. Hemsworth’s camp is calling these claims BS.

In fact, a source told TMZ, “This is another attempt by Miley to distract from her infidelity and recent outrageous public behavior.”

Miley’s claims are further complicated by an interview she did with Elle Magazine in July. She described her marriage as “unique.” She elaborated:

“I think it’s very confusing to people that I’m married. But my relationship is unique. And I don’t know that I would ever publicly allow people in there because it’s so complex, and modern, and new that I don’t think we’re in a place where people would get it.”

She continued:

“I mean, do people really think that I’m at home in a f****** apron cooking dinner? I’m in a hetero relationship, but I still am very sexually attracted to women. People become vegetarian for health reasons, but bacon is still f****** good, and I know that. I made a partner decision. This is the person I feel has my back the most. I definitely don’t fit into a stereotypical wife role. I don’t even like that word.”

To complicate her claims even more, the star was photographed kissing Brody Jenner’s ex-wife, Kaitlynn Carter while vacationing in Itay, hours before announcing her split with Liam Hemsworth. For Carter, she also just recently left her own boyfriend. A source told People Magazine that Carter and Cyrus were “just having fun.”

Cyrus took to Instagram to initially address her split with Hemsworth.

Hemsworth would do the same, writing, “Just a quick note to say that Miley and I have recently separated and I wish her nothing but health and happiness going forward.
This is a private matter and I have not made, nor will I be making, any comments to any journalists or media outlets. Any reported quotes attributed to me are false. Peace and Love.”

Cyrus also just recently released a new single, which many believe is about her relationship with Hemsworth. The song’s lyrics read in part, “Move on, we’re not 17. I’m not who I used to be. You say that everything changed. You’re right, we’re grown now.” It also has lines that read, “I want my house in the hills. Don’t want the whiskey and pills. I don’t give up easily. But I don’t think I’m down.”
