Ms. Marvel

The Ms. Marvel show was reported earlier in the day and will reportedly see frequent guest of the Guilty Feminist podcast and staff writer Bisha K. Ali writing and showrunning. (Related: Report: Ms. Marvel Disney+ Series in Development)

A Ms. Marvel production was confirmed to be in development back in May 2018 by Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige who told BBC:

“We are doing Captain Marvel right now. Captain Marvel is shooting right now with Brie Larson. Ms. Marvel which is another character in the comic books, the Muslim hero, who is inspired by Captain Marvel is definitely, sort of, in the works. We have plans for that once we’ve introduced Captain Marvel to the world.”

Moon Knight

Moon Knight

Rumors had also been swirling around Moon Knight. Lords of the Longbox had indicated he would appear in his own Hulu series giving him the possibility to crossover with the Midnight Sons that includes Ghost Rider and Helstrom.

However, it looks like Moon Knight will be hitting Disney+ instead. Fans had been clamoring for Marc Spector aka Moon Knight to join the Marvel Netflix shows alongside Daredevil when those were in the prime.

Moon Knight was created by Doug Moench and Don Perlin. He was originally conceived as a villain, but he would be recast as a hero in Marvel Spotlight #28.

Marc Spector was originally a heavyweight boxer who become a United States Marine before becoming a mercenary. While working as a mercenary in Egypt, they stumble upon an archaeological dig led by Dr. Peter Alraune. However, Raoul Bushman, who was leading Spector’s mercenaries, aims to loot the site. Spector steps in to try and stop after he murders Dr. Alraune. Bushman ends up killing Spector.

Following his death, local Egyptians who worship the ancient gods carry him to a temple of Khonshu. Khonshu appears before Spector and offers him a second life if he becomes his avatar on Earth. Spector accepts and becomes Moon Knight.

She-Hulk

She-Hulk

There were a number of rumors swirling around She-Hulk. The most recent saw her appearing in a third Spider-Man film to act as Peter Parker’s lawyer after J. Jonah Jameson and Mysterio outed Spider-Man’s identity. (Related: Rumor: She-Hulk to Appear in MCU in Spider-Man 3)

However, there were also rumors that a She-Hulk Disney+ was in the works alongside Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk. (Related: Rumor: Marvel Developing She-Hulk and Hulk Series Starring Mark Ruffalo for Disney+)

Disney didn’t reveal any details about the series other than to confirm they are happening, so it’s quite possible these rumors could still be in play.

All three of these shows will be part of Marvel’s Phase 4 plans.
