GLOW Actress Alison Brie Claims Treatment of Immigrants is “Unconstitutional and Frankly Disgusting” at MTV VMAs

Netflix’s GLOW actress Alison Brie appeared at the MTV Music Videos Awards where she stated “what’s happening to immigrants in this country is both unconstitutional and frankly disgusting.”

Brie’s comments came as she and rapper French Montana were presenting the award for best Latin video.

Before presenting the award, French Montana took the microphone and stated, “Because as an immigrant, I feel like we are the people that make this country. And I feel like I want to be the voice.”

Brie then made her remarks. French Montana followed her up, ‘Can I get a hand for that?” he added, “These nominees – and most of them are immigrants too – are on top of the biggest movement in music.”

Brie, of course, hasn’t been the only critic in tinsel-town of Trump’s enforcement of current immigration law. Star Trek alum George Takei called Trump’s enforcement of current law “intentionally evil” and a “grotesque low.” (Related: Star Trek Alum George Takei: President Trump’s Border Enforcement Is “Intentional Evil” and a “Grotesque Low”)

Scandal actress Kerry Washington claimed earlier this year that President Trump’s immigration policy was “traumatizing children.” (Related: Scandal Actress Kerry Washington Claims President Trump’s Immigration Policy Is “Traumatizing Children”)
