These days, if you enjoy controversy, Twitch is the place to be.
Not to be outdone, Twitch streamer Amouranth exposed herself across the gaming world Sunday.
At one point during her live broadcast, Amouranth is seen playing with her dog. She’s laying on the floor, next to the animal, while in a fairly revealing skirt. (Related: Twitch Streamer Alinity Accused of Animal Abuse After Tossing Cat During Livestream)
As she sits up to change position, her skirt shifts to reveal her lady bits, since apparently she forgot to wear panties for this stream. You can see the video here.
Dot Esports reports Amouranth “has been banned form the platform for ‘accidental nudity’ during a livestream.”
Dexerto also reports “Amouranth banned on twitch after NSFW wardrobe malfunction.”
It’s unclear why exactly Amouranth was banned, but if you attempt to visit her Twitch page you get a message that reads, “Sorry. Unless you’ve got a time machine, that content is unavailable.”
It’s more than likely she was banned for nudity. Twitch’s Community Guidelines ban nudity and exposing genitalia:
“Attire intended to be sexually suggestive and nudity are prohibited. Attire (or lack of attire) intended to be sexually suggestive includes undergarments, intimate apparel, or exposing/focusing on male or female genitals, buttocks, or nipples.”
One of the most viewed streamers on Twitch, Amouranth is a cosplay, ASMR, and Dance Dance Revolution streamer by trade. Amouranth is the face of IRL streaming on Twitch. Like it or not, she’s one of the most influential Twitch partners in the entire community. (Related: Fortnite and Twitch Streamer KryptixEliteTv Accused of Beating Dog – He Responds to Allegations)
According to Twitch Tracker, Amouranth had an average of 2,052 followers in August with over 615,290 hours watched.
Amouranth’s streams regularly push the limits of the Twitch TOS, from her outfits to the subjects she discusses with her chat. In past years, she even had special cams focusing on her posterior and more.
She also promotes her premium Snapchat with both SFW and NSFW content, and a Patreon with similar content.
Given the nature of the infraction, it’s not surprising to see Twitch step in, but Dexerto reports it took them over 12 hours to do so.
With many viewers and streamers heading to other platforms, it’s possible that Twitch is trying to show they enforce the TOS evenly.
At this point, there’s been no statement from Twitch or Amouranth on the matter. It’s unclear how long her ban or suspension will be in effect.
It’s a pretty safe bet she’ll be back in 30 days or less, doing what she does best, making a ton of money for her and Twitch.
What do you think readers? Will Amouranth be back?
