Netflix Reveals Behind-The-Scenes Footage For Live-Action Cowboy Bebop Series

Netflix released a behind-the-scenes video announcing that their upcoming live-action Cowboy Bebop series has gone into production.
The video provides a unique perspective as they attach the camera to Ein the Corgi. Ein even gives us a first look at the cast from his perspective.

The live action series will be adapted from the original Cowboy Bebop anime that was created by director Shinichirō Watanabe and animator Toshihiro Kawamoto back in 1997. The original series ran for 26 episodes. Watanabe will serve as a consultant on the live-action show.
Netflix announced the cast for the show back in April. It includes John Cho as Spike Spiegel, Mustafa Shakir as Jet Black, Daniella Pineda as Faye Valentine, and Alex Hassell as Vicious.
Here’s the official description for the series:
“A ragtag crew of bounty hunters chases down the galaxy’s most dangerous criminals. They’ll save the world … for the right price.”
The first two episodes of the series will be directed by Alex Garcia. Andre Nemec, Josh Applebaum, Jeff Pinkner, and Scott Rosenberg will act as showrunner as well as executive producers.
The show looks like it could be Netflix’s answer to Disney Plus and their upcoming Star Wars spin-off The Mandalorian. The two companies definitely appear to be going head to head against each other. Disney even banned Netflix from advertising on most of their networks excluding ESPN.
