Here’s the official description of the game from Bandai Namco:

“ONE PUNCH MAN: A HERO NOBODY KNOWS is an action fighting game set in a universe where threats are daily occurrences and heroes the sole hope against annihilation. Saitama the main protagonist, is a hero that can obliterate even the strongest foes with a single punch, a situation that bother him to no end. The game will feature 3 vs. 3 battles, where players can form powerful teams using many familiar faces.”

The game will feature iconic One Punch Man characters Genos, Hellish Blizzard, Mumen Rider, Speed-o’-Sound Sonic, Vaccine Man, Mosquito Girl, Deep Sea King, Carnage Kabuto, Terrible Tornado, Silverfang, Atomic Samurai, and Saitama.

However, players will also be able to create their own custom One Punch Man character. While playing as your own hero you will have to train and perform a number of missions in order to rise up in the Hero Association ranks. The game promises there will even be random events in the middle of battle that include “supervillain interferences to asteroid crashes.”

There is also a unique Hero Arrival System. Bandai Namco explains:

“Players will have to meet a number of criteria if they want to play as the strongest hero. In order to make Saitama selectable, they will need to choose two fighters first. When the fight begins Saitama’s team will have to survive until his arrival despite the numerical disadvantage. Combos or perfect guards will remove time on the counter. When the Caped Baldy finally enters battle, one punch should be enough to pacify any situation!”
