Star Wars Leak Hints At Destruction of the Millennium Falcon

A new Star Wars leak hints that the Millennium Falcon might be destroyed in Rise of the Skywalker.

Reddit user Jedi_Master87 posted in the Star Wars Leaks subreddit that there is a musical motif in The Rise of Skywalker titled ‘The Falcon’s Last Ride.”

Here’s the full leak:

“There is a TROS musical motif called, “The Falcon’s Last Ride.” Motifs from previous episodes will be making an appearance including “Duel of the Fates.” There are only a few more sessions of recording JW’s score in LA.”

As YouTuber Drunk3PO points out in the video above, this leak does have some veracity to it.

In the lead up to the prequel film, The Phantom Menace, Star Wars and Lucasfilm released the soundtrack for the film that included a song titled, “The Death of Qui-Gon.”

Liam Neeson’s Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn would die at the hands of Darth Maul in the film.

Adding to this alleged leak from Jedi_Master87 is what appears to be a Facebook ad from LEGO.

As reported by Disney Star Wars is Dumb, the ad shows Lando Calrissian piloting the Millennium Falcon on a suicide mission against what looks like Kylo Ren’s First Order ship. Calrissian flies the Falcon directly into the oncoming enemy ship and they both explode into LEGO bricks.

It’s a scene very reminiscent of The Last Jedi where Admiral Holdo hyperspace kamikaze attacks Snoke’s First Order flag ship.

However, Drunk3PO does not believe the Millennium Falcon will be destroyed.

He states, “The reason why I do not feel they are not going to destroy the Falcon in Episode IX is because it belongs in Galaxy’s Edge. They have the Falcon in Galaxy’s Edge. They have Chewie in Galaxy’s Edge.”

He continues, “Galaxy’s Edge is supposed to be, the place of Batuu, is supposed to be in Episode IX. So, I don’t think they are going to destroy the Falcon just so you are going to go see it in Galaxy’s Edge. Galaxy’s Edge is supposed to be an extension of the Star Wars universe. And it’s going to be there. You pilot the Falcon there.”

Drunk3PO adds, “It would be rather foolish for them to destroy the Falcon in the last film and have it in Galaxy’s Edge.”

Do you think Star Wars and Lucasfilm will destroy the Millennium Falcon in The Rise of Skywalker?
