Sword Art Online Alicization Lycoris VA Miho Okasaki Introduces New Character Medina Orthinanos

Sword Art Online Alicization Lycoris voice actor Miho Okasaki recently introduced a brand new character for the game Medina Orthinanos.
Okasaki, who previously voiced Rimuru in That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, describes Medina as “a young girl who’s also the ninth head of the Orthinanos family.”
She continues, “She is on a mission to grow strong and clear her family’s name through victory in battle.”

Okasaki adds, “While she’s usually a calm person, she’s an aggressive fighter in battle.”
She then details that she wasn’t quite sure how to play Medina because she first seemed aloof. However, she realizes she’s actually pure. She details that this purity also makes her stubborn “which sometimes makes things tough for her.”
Okasaki would also detail Medina’s first encounter with Kirito.
“After leaving Rulid Village, she meets Kirito and the others. They train to be Integrity Knights at the same swordcraft academy, but Medina doesn’t often show her true feelings to others, and she tends to put up walls around herself. Kirito is the only one who, instead of putting up walls, fits himself into her space.”
She continues:
“I really fell that Medina is at her cutest, her most feminine when she’s with Kirito. At those times, she really seems like the young girl she is. While Kirito is such a cool guy, Medina has her own quirks.”
Sword Art Online Alicization Lycoris is being developed by Aquria for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
