Charlie’s Angels Director Elizabeth Banks Reveals Her Holiday Wish List – Includes Impeachment, Donald Trump’s Tax Returns, and More

Charlie’s Angels director and actor Elizabeth Banks took to Twitter to reveal her holiday wish list.

She posted a photo that reads:

“All I Want This Holiday is

  • impeachment
  • action on climate change
  • cancel school lunch debt
  • criminal justice reform
  • no kids in cages
  • good health for Ruth Bader Ginsburg
  • coal (and worse) for McConnell, Jordan, Graham & Nunes
  • a woman’s right to choose
  • action on gun control
  • Trump’s tax return
  • Stephen Miller fired
  • Brett Kavanaugh to step down”

Banks captioned the photo writing, “Amen.”

Banks’ holiday wish list comes shortly after her Charlie’s Angels film bombed at the box office and she prematurely blamed men for the film’s failure.

According to The Numbers the film’s opening weekend only grossed $8.3 million. It has currently only grossed $14.9 million at the domestic box office and $44.7 million worldwide.

The film reportedly had a $49 million production budget.

A week before the film even released into theaters, Banks was already placing blame on the film’s box office failure.

She stated, “Look, people have to buy tickets to this movie, too. This movie has to make money.”

She added, “If this movie doesn’t make money it reinforces a stereotype in Hollywood that men don’t go see women do action movies.”

Banks also explained why the film needed to make money:

“By the way, I’m happy for those characters to have box office success, but we need more women’s voices supported with money because that’s the power. The power is in the money.”
