New Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker Clip Continues To Confirm Leaks

A brand new Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker clip continues to confirm the leaks of the film.

Take a look.

As you can see in the above clip, Kylo Ren’s TIE Fighter drops out of hyperspace and lands on a planet with what appears to be some kind of temple structure on it. Lightning ripples through the sky as Kylo Ren lands.

After landing his TIE fighter, Kylo Ren ignites his lightsaber and enters the temple.

He hears the Emperor’s voice along with Snoke and Vader say, “At last. My boy. I have been every voice you have ever heard. Inside your head.”

Kylo then swings his lightsaber and we hear Palpatine’s iconic laugh.

The clip then transitions with the iconic Star Wars song Duel of the Fates as we see the speeder chase on the desert planet.

From there we get a montage of clips with Rey on the water skiff, Kylo cutting down natives on the red forest planet, Poe, Chewbacca, and Finn on the jungle planet, Lando and Chewie in the Millennium Falcon, and the Millennium Falcon being chased by TIEs.

It continues with Rey and Kylo fighting on the Death Star wreckage, X-wings flying through space, X-wings taking on Imperial Star Destroyers, Rey on Ahch-to looking at a destroyed TIE fighter, the Millennium Falcon fighting off Tie Fighters, and it concludes with Rey and Kylo fighting on the Death Star wreckage again.

The Leaks

These new leaks indicated that the film would open up with Kylo Ren on the red wood planet where he’s mowing down natives with his lightsaber. On this planet he would discover Darth Vader’s Wayfinder.

After discovering the Wayfinder, which is a a pyramid shaped object. He then hooks it into his TIE that allows him to travel to Exogol. In order to get to Exogol, he travels through a red nebula like section of space. Jedi Paxis notes this section of space is seen in recent TV spots with Resistance ships later in the movie.

After arriving on Exogol, Kylo Ren discovers what appears to be a science lab. He then hears Palpatine’s voice, who claims that he made Snoke and that he’s been orchestrating everything from the shadows.

The clip seen above appears to be a matching description to the leaks from Jedi Paxis. The only difference is that it doesn’t look like a science lab, but rather a ruined temple. It’s possible this science lab could be discovered later on during the scene.

This new trailer did receive some warm reception from YouTuber Jeremy Griggs of Geeks and Gamers.

He described the promotional video as “actually a good piece of footage from The Rise of Skywalker.”

Although he adds, “It shows me that Lucasfilm has become desperate and they are starting to try and pander to the same fanboys that they have been telling for the past two years to shut up. The same fanboys that Bob Iger just a few days ago in an interview said that they need to not worry about what they say and move Star Wars forward.”

Griggs then continues to praise the trailer, “They are giving us a trailer that in tone is great. The music is great. Everything about this works.”
