New Set Photos Appear to Confirm Kathryn Hahn’s Role in WandaVision

New set photos from the upcoming WandaVision show that will debut on Disney+ appear to confirm Kathryn Hahn’s role in the film.
The set photos posted to the MarvelStudiosSpoilers subreddit shows Kathryn Hahn dressed up as a what appears to be a witch. Not only does she look like a witch, but she appears to be on a set piece made to look like the 17th century.

Reddit user bewareofmoocow believes these set photos indicate that Hahn is playing Agatha Harkness.
If this is indeed true, it confirms rumors that began circulating in November.
Those rumors came from 4Chan from an anonymous source claiming to be working on the show. They noted that Hahn would be playing a woman named Agatha.
The leaker went on to describe that Agatha does have some kind of mystical powers as she offers Wanda the ability to create a pocket dimension, or a perfect world for her.
This perfect world consists of Vision and Wanda with two newborn children, Wiccan and Speed.

While in this pocket dimension, Agatha takes on the role of a noisy neighbor and it is revealed that she plans to kill Wanda and Vision’s children after they grow up.
It’s unclear why Agatha wants to kill Wanda and Vision’s children.
Given this rumor and the leaked photos, it’s most likely the character Hahn is playing is Agatha Harkness.
The character is an ancient witch who has been around the Marvel Universe for over 500 years. In fact, she’s been around since before Atlantis sank to the bottom of the ocean.
She would lead the New Salem Clan of Witches and eventually become the governess of Franklin Richards.
As for her connection with Scarlet Witch, Agatha aided Scarlet Witch and the Avengers in a battle against Master Pandemonium and Mephisto in Avengers West Coast #52,
During this battle it is revealed that Scarlet Witch’s twin children are really part of the fragmented being of Mephisto after he was blasted by Franklin Richards.
In order to defeat Mephisto and save the Avengers, Scarlet Witch opens her mind and her soul to Agatha Harkness. After doing so, Agatha erases the memory of Wanda’s sons from her memory in order to disperse Mephisto.
Agatha makes it clear that Wanda will have no memories of her children that she brought into existence with her reality warping powers and the fragments of Mephisto.
Following this encounter, Agatha would go on to train and mentor Scarlet Witch.
However, Scarlet Witch would discover Agatha’s actions and that she erased her memory. In Avengers #503, Scarlet Witch would brutally murder Agatha Harkness.
Not only would she murder Harkness, but Scarlet Witch would recreate her children and cause an all out war between the Avengers and their greatest foes.
She would eventually be brought to heel by Doctor Strange.
If this rumor from 4Chan ends up being true, it’s more than likely Agatha Harkness’ character is getting reimagined as an antagonist to Scarlet Witch rather than an ally.
