Avengers and Justice League Director Joss Whedon Describes Democrat Party As “Misogynist” While Calling The Republican Party “Murderous”

Avengers and Justice League director Joss Whedon described the Democrat Party as “misogynist” and claimed that America’s “mistrust of women” is why Democrats can’t beat the “murderous” Republican Party.

Whedon took to Twitter to describe the Republican Party. He wrote, “Republican Party: teasonous, poisonous, murderous, racist, misogynist.”

He then described the Democrat Party. He wrote, “Democrat Party: struggling to do their best to help people, misogynist.”

After describing both the Republican Party and the Democrat Party, Whedon came to the conclusion that why the Democrat Party cannot beat the Republican Party is because of “America’s basic mistrust of women.”

He wrote, “At the end of the day, that’s how they beat us. The secret ingredient. We have never confronted America’s basic mistrust of women.”

Interestingly enough, Whedon’s ex-wife Kai Cole penned an op-ed in TheWrap back in 2017. In that op-ed she describes Whedon as a “hypocrite preaching feminist ideals.”

She also detailed that Whedon told her, “As a guilty man I knew the only way to hide was to act as though I were righteous. And as a husband, I wanted to be with you like we had been. I lived two lives.”

Cole added, “Despite understanding, on some level, that what he was doing was wrong, he never conceded the hypocrisy of being out in the world preaching feminist ideals, while at the same time, taking away my right to make choices for my life and my body based on the truth. He deceived me for 15 years, so he could have everything he wanted.”

She concluded, “I want to let women know that he is not who he pretends to be. I want the people who worship him to know he is human, and the organizations giving him awards for his feminist work, to think twice in the future about honoring a man who does not practice what he preaches.”

As for Whedon wading into politics, he’s no stranger to it. In September, he called for Twitter to ban Donald Trump from the platform.

That call to ban Donald Trump came after Whedon was actually suspended from Twitter for calling for the death of President Donald Trump.

Not only has Whedon called for the death of President Donald, but he’s also referred to President Trump as a “racist, fascist President.”

Whedon is rumored to return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe and could possibly direct an X-Men film.

He also has a science-fiction drama in development at HBO called The Nevers. The show is described as “an epic science fiction drama about a gang of Victorian women who find themselves with unusual abilities, relentless enemies, and a mission that might change the world.”

The cast includes Laura Donnelly, Olivia Wiliams, James Norton, Tom Riley, Ann Skelly, Ben Chaplin, Pip Torrens, Zackary Momoh, Amy Manson, Nick Frost, Rochelle Neil, Eleanor Tomlinson, and Denis O’Hare.

Whedon described the show:

“They, themselves are not called that [The Nevers] in the show. It’s a phrase that’s meant to evoke a sort of reaction to their oddity, to what is considered unnatural. The idea that you should never be like this, you should never have existed. Something is not the way it should be, and you don’t have the right to have whatever weird power or ability that you have. And that idea, that some people are not of the natural order, is fascinating to me. I don’t agree with it. But to me, it’s one of those things where you take something negative, and you wear it as a badge of honor, basically. Certain things could never happen – they’re happening. And the people they’re happening to are taking their place in the world.”

It is expected to premiere sometime in 2021.
