Cyborg Actor Ray Fisher Claims Geoff Johns Threatened His Career While Filming Justice League

Cyborg actor Ray Fisher has accused Geoff Johns of threatening his career. The incident happened when Justice League was being finished by Joss Whedon, and Fisher wanted to air grievances.

This new accusation comes as Fisher posted on Twitter about the incident with Geoff Johns when he attempted to go through proper channels to complain about Whedon’s conduct.

On Wednesday Ray Fisher unloaded on Johns. He alleged that he was belittled and admonished for his actions.

Here are Fisher’s words in full, “During the LA reshoots for Justice League, Geoff Johns summoned me to his office to belittle and admonish my (and my agent’s) attempts to take grievances up the proper chain of command. He then made a thinly veiled threat to my career. This behavior cannot continue.”

Fisher accused Whedon a month ago of “abusive, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable” behavior on the set. His post at the time also implicated Geoff Johns.

In that Tweet, Fisher said of Whedon’s on-set behavior, “Joss Wheadon’s on-set treatment of the cast and crew of Justice League was gross, abusive, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable. He was enabled, in many ways, by Geoff Johns and Jon Berg. Accountability>Entertainment.”

However, friends and players who worked under Whedon many times, such as Alan Tudyk, came to his defense.

Nevertheless, Fisher said he would not relent. He wrote on Twitter, “I understand full well the personal and professional risks associated with my speaking out against the abhorrent behavior of Joss Whedon and his enablers – Geoff Johns and Jon Berg. I will not relent.”

Allegations against Whedon kept mounting. While Fisher got support from Zack Snyder, set photographer Jason Laboy, and Gal Gadot’s stand-in Caitlin Burles. All either liked Fisher’s social-media posts or shared their own stories.

Burles may have been the stand-in Laboy asserted that Whedon locked in a closet and threatened if she didn’t do a scene Gal Gadot had refused to. Grace Randolph was the first to break that story.

Here is her post in the wake of the Whedon controversy. She wrote, “I doubt we’ll ever get specifics from Ray Risher re Joss Whedon, but here’s one I was the first to report: Gal Gadot didn’t want to flim this scene, so Whedon did it w/ a stunt double. That’s why you can’t see her face.”

Geoff Johns keeps getting hit with rumors and reports that he is difficult and not liked in the film industry or at DC. Randolph also reported he brought Whedon on to complete and change Justice League into what it became.

She also relayed word Johns – co-producer of Stargirl – isn’t a very good showrunner. Additionally, he supposedly caused problems for David Ayer’s Suicide Squad and Ben Affleck’s work as Batman.

Former co-president of DC Diane Nelson infamously tweeted Johns was “no buddy” of hers when a reply to her claimed that he was.

Johns and Nelson stepped down from their posts as co-presidents in 2018. He returned to producing and is hands-on with Stargirl and the upcoming Green Lantern series on HBO Max.
