Three of Nintendo’s Iconic Ladies Hit the Beach in Cheeky Summer Pin-Up by Artist Echo Saber!

Three of Nintendo’s iconic ladies are looking good in the Summer heat; as seen in a new pin-up drawn by artist Echo Saber.
Princess Peach, Princess Daisy, and Rosalina may be the closest of Tennis and Olympic partners, but the three possess vastly different origins.

Princess Peach, the iconic, blonde-haired ruler of the Mushroom Kingdom, first appeared in the 1985 classic Super Mario Bros, where she was captured by Bowser and eventually rescued by Mario himself.
Though she existed solely as an NPC to be rescued by Mario for most of her early appearances, the pink-dress-clad Princess has made a playable role in nearly every franchise title and even starred in Super Princess Peach, an excellent spin-off that saw the Princess set out to rescue Mario and Luigi from Bowser.

Players would be introduced to the cheerful Princess Daisy in 1989’s Super Mario Land, the first handheld Mario title to be produced by Nintendo, just four years before she served as a protagonist in the 1993 live-action Super Mario Bros. movie.
After her Game Boy debut, Daisy would disappear almost entirely from Nintendo’s canon until her appearance ten-years later in the Nintendo 64 entry of the Mario Tennis series.
Since her triumphant return, Daisy has gone on to become one of the most popular Mario-related characters in Nintendo’s catalog and is sometimes ranked more popular among fans than Princess Peach.

In 2007’s Super Mario Galaxy, players met Rosalina, the beautiful protector of the cosmos who would go on to become a series staple and appear in numerous spin-off titles such as Mario Kart Wii, Mario Party 10, and Super Smash Bros.
Despite her regular depiction alongside Daisy and Peach, the adopted mother to the adorable Lumas actually stands at almost eight-feet tall, which makes her one of the tallest characters in the series to date.
Given that the ladies have made multiple, regular appearances in Mario sports titles, it’s no surprise that the three are looking great in Echo Saber’s beach day pin-up:

This summertime pin-up is the latest in a series of beach-themed artwork made by Echo Saber.
