Disney and Lucasfilm Reveal 14 New Images From The Mandalorian Season 2

Disney and Lucasfilm recently released their first trailer for the second season of The Mandalorian, but they also revealed 14 new images from the second season of the Star Wars show along with the second season’s first poster.

Lucasfilm also revealed a new synopsis for the second season.
It simply reads, “The Mandalorian and the Child continue their journey, facing enemies and rallying allies as they make their way through a dangerous galaxy in the tumultuous era after the collapse of the Galactic Empire.”
As for the 14 new images, the first one shows Gina Carano’s Cara Dune leaning up against a pole outside a building with a security lock.
The second image is a group shot showing off Carano’s Cara Dune, Pedro Pascal’s The Mandalorian, and Carl Weathers’ Greef Karga.

Next, we get a solo shot of Weather’s Greef Karga.
The fourth image appears to confirm that the show will return to the iconic desert planet of Tatooine as we see a Tusken Raider riding on a bantha.

The fifth again appears to confirm the return to Tatooine as Pedro Pascal’s The Mandalorian and Baby Yoda take a ride through a desert town on a speeder bike.
The sixth image gives us our first look at Giancarlo Esposito’s Moff Gideon for Season 2.

Next, is a shot of Baby Yoda and The Mandalorian lounging outside what appears to be a building on Tatooine.
The eighth image shows us the back of The Mandalorian and the baby cradle that Baby Yoda rides around in. It appears to be a new planet with dimly lit lights and graffiti on the walls of the buildings.

The ninth image gives us another look at a Tusek Raider on his bantha as the Mandalorian’s ship the Razor Crest flies overhead.
The tenth image gives us a close up of Baby Yoda or The Child as Disney calls him.

The eleventh image showcases WWE Superstar Sasha Banks’ mysterious character. It’s unclear who she is playing or what role her character will play.
The 12th image shows The Mandalorian in conversation with a cyclopean alien. The alien’s race was not provided by Lucasfilm.

The 13th image shows a scout trooper on a speeder bike.
And finally the last image shows The Mandalorian and Baby Yoda on a snowy planet appearing to investigate some kind of crash.
The Mandalorian stars Pedro Pascal, Gina Carano, Carl Weathers and Giancarlo Esposito.
The second season of the show features a number of directors including Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, Bryce Dallas Howard, Rick Famuyiwa, Carl Weathers, Peyton Reed, and Robert Rodriguez.
Jon Favreau is the showrunner and he executive produces the show alongside Dave Filoni, Kathleen Kennedy, and Colin Wilson. Karen Gilcrhrist is a co-executive producer.
The Season 2 premiere of The Mandalorian airs on Disney Plus on Friday, October 30th.
