The Eternals Actress Salma Hayek Shows Off The Goods In Bikini Selfie To Ring In The New Year

Salma Hayek, who will play a gender swapped version of Ajak in Marvel Studios’ upcoming The Eternals film, rang in 2021 by sharing a bikini selfie to her Instagram.
Hayek, who is 54 years-old, wore a brown and red bikini with a pair of sunglasses and a gold necklace.

Hayek definitely rang in the New Year somewhere tropical as just as 2020 was coming to a close she previously shared two other photos of her wearing a purple bikini while enjoying some time on the beach.
Along with the purple bikini she accessorized with a pair of sunglasses, a fuchsia beach robe, and what appears to be a straw fedora.
She captioned the photos saying, “Last days of 2020. Never been more grateful for being healthy and in contact with nature.”
As for her role in the upcoming The Eternals film, Hayek discussed Ajak with Total Film back in April 2020 revealing that Ajak is the leader of the Eternals.
She explained, “At 53 – finally! – I can be a superhero.”
She continued, “I play Ajak, who is the leader of the superheroes and all of them are people you would never have imagined. Except for Angelina [Jolie]. Angelina – she was born to be a superhero!”
Hayek went on to reiterate that her character is the lead of the Eternals.
She elaborated, “The rest of us [Eternals] are like misfits, and we’re all superheroes, and I get to be the leader. That sounds really appropriate! Yes, why not? Let’s go! It just made me feel like, ‘Maybe they’re doing something different.’ And they are.”
As for what drew her to the project, she explained it was director Chloé Zhao.
Hayek detailed, “The director is amazing. Did you see her first movie? The Rider? I was blown away.” She added, “The one thing that excited me the most was the director. She’s incredible.”
The Eternals film is expected to see Hayek’s Ajak and the rest of the characters originally created by comic book legend Jack Kirby face off against the long-time foes the Deviants.
Here’s the official synopsis, “Following the events of Avengers: Endgame, an unexpected tragedy forces them [The Eternals] out of the shadows to reunite against mankind’s most ancient enemy, The Deviants.”
As for what Hayek might look as Ajak, artist Carloz Gzz put his talents to work and shared the below image to his Instagram.

However, that might not be what she actually looks like. A Marvel Legends toy leak from September 2020 gave us a much better idea of what we can expect Hayek to look like as Ajak.
Twitter account BRMarvelNews shared the leaked toy and its packaging.
The packaging reads, “The spiritual leader of the Eternals. Ajak can heal others and is able to communicate with the Celestials.”
