Noah Centineo Gets Jacked To Play Atom Smasher In Black Adam

Charlie’s Angels (2019) actor Noah Centineo is getting into seriously super shape to play Justice Society recruit Albert Rothstein, better known as Atom Smasher, in the upcoming Black Adam film.

His trainer, Kirk Meyers shared videos of Centino weight training on Instagram. Tagging Centineo and his Dog Pound gym, Meyers wrote, “SUPER PROUD of LEGEND @ncentineo for making moves and SMASHING SUPERHERO TRAINING.”

On his personal Instagram account, Centineo shared his own post showing off the astounding results and playfully referred to himself as a “thirst trap”.

Subjective or debatable as you could call that self-compliment, the actor is trapping the attention of fans and former co-stars. Centino’s To All the Boys co-star Lana Condor left a comment on the post reading, “Noah. You look amazing” punctuated by three fire emojis.

His hard work is paying off and may come easy based on lessons he’s already learned to get fit, given how Centineo had to bulk up much more intensely for another role prior to Black Adam.

“Last time I gained, I was eating 6,500 calories a day,” Centineo recalled to E! News. “This time will not be as bad.”

The “last time” was probably for the Masters of the Universe remake, wherein he was scheduled to play He-Man. That project stalled, freeing him up to play Atom Smasher.

Now he’s training to keep up with Black Adam star Dwayne Johnson, and you can’t argue with the whippersnapper’s commitment.

That’s more than can be said for Robert Pattinson in making The Batman, if any other rumors and allegations about his training and behavior hold water. Pattinson confessed in an interview to “barely doing anything” while in lockdown last year.

According to some scoops, the Twilight star showed up to the set thin and out of shape, making excuses and outraging director Matt Reeves. He was reportedly sent home for two weeks to gain more muscle mass and that shut production down yet again.

Black Adam has been delayed many times too, but it shouldn’t have the same problems as The Batman. Large sets are currently being built as production begins ahead of the newly announced summer 2022 release.
