Genshin Impact Developer Announces New Turn-Based Strategy RPG Honkai: Star Rail, Closed Beta Sign-Up Now Live

Genshin Impact developer miHoYo recently announced a brand new turn-based strategy RPG called Honkai: Star Rail.

The developer released an official reveal trailer for the game. Take a look.
Aside from the trailer, miHoYo has not revealed a lot of details about the game. The game’s official website does provide a screen shot of the turn-based play noting it will allow players to “engage in thrill, strategic combat.”
The website also reveals the game will feature a dungeon exploration mechanic. It states, “Uncover the Fragmentum’s secrets with your team.”

While they didn’t reveal a lot of information about the gameplay, they did provide quite a bit of information about the game’s characters which include Himeko, Welt, Danheng, March 7th, Gepard, Seele, Clara, and Asta.

miHoYo also announced they are currently accepting sign-ups for a closed beta test for players on iOS and PC. You can sign-up for the closed beta here.
Additional details including device and specification requirements can be found on the game’s closed beta FAQ page.
While the closed beta FAQ notes players need an iOS or PC, the game is expected to be released on Android devices as well. Aside from English, it will also be available in Japanese, Korean, and Traditional Chinese.
No release date has been given at this time.
