Hollywood superstar Chris Pratt recently found himself in the middle of yet another pathetic cancellation attempt after the woke-and-easily-offended cancel culture mob took issue with an Instagram post he shared last week.

“Guys. For real. Look how she’s looking at me! I mean. Find you somebody that looks at you like that!!” wrote Pratt last Tuesday of his wife, Katherine Schwarzenegger. “You know!? We met in church. She’s given me an amazing life, a gorgeous healthy daughter, she chews so loudly that sometimes i put in my ear buds to drown it out, but that’s love!”

The actor continued, “She helps me with everything. In return, periodically, I open a jar of pickles. That’s the trade. Her heart is pure and it belongs to me. My greatest treasure right next to my Ken Griffey Jr Upper Deck Rookie card. Which if you know, you know is saying a lot. It’s her birthday in about 6 weeks. So if I don’t get her anything, I’ll tell her to look back on this post. Love you honey.”

The woke mob claimed that Pratt’s lauding of Schwarzenegger and thanking her for giving him a “healthy daughter” was disrespectful to both ex-wife Ana Faris and son Jack Pratt

To provide further context, Pratt’s son, Jack, was born two months premature in August of 2012, and this led to a series of health complications.

E! online reports that Faris opened up about her son’s health struggles in an episode of her podcast, Unqualified, in 2018, saying, “Jack had a few surgeries — he had a few hernia surgeries, he’s had a few eye surgeries and he had a little heart issue as well.”

“When Jack was born two months early, it came as a huge shock and suddenly, your world completely shifts,” the actress continued. “The doctors and nurses that helped us and surrounded us were so unbelievably supportive that it inspired Chris and I and my parents to all get involved in this.”

Unsurprisingly, Pratt’s recent Instagram post did not bode well with social justice warriors, who interpreted the message as a dig at Faris over her inability to give him a healthy son.

In the wake of the backlash, The Tomorrow War star took to Instagram to address the criticism he received upon sharing his original post, revealing that he “went to bed last night really kind of upset and depressed” but found solace in his Christian faith.

“I went to bed last night really kind of upset and depressed, and I woke up feeling crappy and I didn’t want to work out,” said Pratt. “I knew though that if I put on my Christian music playlist and I got out of the woods and ran that I’d feel better but I just didn’t want to. And I did it anyways and gosh was I right. It felt amazing.”

Pratt explained, “‘I got out in the woods, [I] got my blood pumping and God was like, sat down there right down next to me,” adding that he doesn’t “get emotional that often, but I actually got emotional out in the woods.”

“I just felt like there was another in the fire standing next to me,” he declared, going on to explain that this particular line was in one of the songs in the Christian music playlist he was listening to at the time. “So I just want to say all glory to God. And if you feel down today maybe get [some] exercise and maybe listen to some good worship music or get the word in, because it really helped me this morning.”

Of course, this is far from the first time Pratt has found himself in the cross-hairs of the woke mob.

In 2019, outraged fans descended upon Pratt after actress Ellen Page accused him and his church – the Zoe Church in Los Angeles – of being anti-LGBTQ.

“Oh. K. Um. But his church is infamously anti lgbtq so maybe address that too?” said Page, retweeting an article by The Hollywood Reporter in which they covered an appearance by Pratt on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert wherein he discussed his faith.

Page, who has since come out as transgender, doubled down in a follow-up tweet, writing, “If you are a famous actor and you belong to an organization that hates a certain group of people, don’t be surprised if someone simply wonders why it’s not addressed.”

“Being anti LGBTQ is wrong, there aren’t two sides,” Page added. “The damage it causes is severe. Full stop. Sending love to all.”

In an Instagram Story, Pratt responded to Page stating, “It has recently been suggested that I belong to a church which ‘hates a certain group of people’ and is ‘infamously anti-LGBTQ.’ Nothing could be further from the truth. I go to a church that opens their doors to absolutely everyone.”

“Despite what the Bible says about divorce my church community was there for me every step of the way, never judging, just gracefully accompanying me on my walk,” The actor explained. “They helped me tremendously offering love and support. It is what I have seen them do for others on countless occasions regardless of sexual orientation, race or gender.”

He further clarified, “My values define who I am. We need less hate in the world, not more. I am a man who believes that everyone is entitled to love who they want free from the judgment of their fellow man.”
