Why Whoopi Goldberg Should Be Fired For Her Anti-Semitism

Movie star, comedian, and View co-host Whoopi Goldberg recently stepped on a giant rake when she suggested that the Jewish Holocaust of WWII was “not about race,” but rather a symptom of “man’s inhumanity to man. That’s what it’s about!” It was a bizarre take for anyone with even a middle schooler’s knowledge of Holocaust history, but the reality is far more insidious.

Goldberg prefaced her take by suggesting, “this is white people doing it to white people, y’all go fight amongst yourselves.”
Needless to say, the backlash was severe, prompting Goldberg to issue a standard-issue faux apology, which she then blew up on national television during an appearance on Stephen Colbert’s show. Goldberg’s comments are notoriously and blatantly anti-semitic, which is part of a much broader mainstreamed narrative on behalf of the radical establishment Left.
Essentially, Goldberg argued that Jews weren’t actually a race, but rather, another shade of white. This venomous idea has been popping up more and more inside Leftist circles for the express purpose of providing a buffer against criticism, but in actuality, it’s saying the quiet part out loud.

The term “white-adjacent” has been gaining strength inside Leftist ideology for quite some time, and those who fall within its sphere currently include Asian-Americans, and most recently, Hispanic Americans. Any race that “looks white,” or holds so-called “white values” like timeliness, hard work and responsibility is now “white,” according to the Left, and that means more targets of high value.
It’s an insidious and deeply dangerous view that continues to expose the seething racism of the radical Left, and the violence that follows in its wake. For the first time in decades, race-based discrimination has now been mainstreamed into every corner of culture, courtesy of the radical Left, and the Democratic Party currently in power.

This type of rhetoric has led to a vast swathe in hate crimes against Jews and other racial groups, the majority of which are perpetrated either by non-whites, or those on the political Left, according to all available data. Indeed, as racial hate crimes swell in strength, the media simultaneously suppresses any and all stories that do not feature a white perpetrator, or a white nationalist group.

Whoopi Goldberg’s comments are especially troubling, particularly because they actually absolve Adolf Hitler and the Nazi Party for their heinous crimes during World War II. It’s never a good look to provide covering fire for the most evil human being ever to have stalked the Earth.

Indeed, by claiming that the Holocaust was not an issue of race, Goldberg is doing precisely that. For those who don’t know their history, Hitler was quoted in his controversial book Mein Kampf as saying “The Jew has always been a people with definite racial characteristics, and never a religion.”
He made his intentions quite clear in 1922 when he said to Josef Hell, “Once I really am in power, my first and foremost task will be the annihilation of the Jews. As soon as I have the power to do so, I will have gallows built in rows – at the Marienplatz in Munich, for example – as many as traffic allows!”
Is there any level of intellectual cowardice or moral bankruptcy that radical Leftists like Whoopi Goldberg will not stoop to? The answer, of course, is ‘No.’ There is no floor when it comes to the Left’s inherent hypocrisy on social issues, the most predominant of which is the concept of racism. The bar can always be lowered a little more.

Goldberg’s comments openly invite anti-semitism in an age when anti-Jew sentiment is boiling over, and the primary antagonists of this trend are not, in fact, Alt-Right Neo Nazis and white nationalists. Rather, they are driven by inflammatory rhetoric from mainstream cultural figures on the Left, who are in control of America’s major institutions.
Case in point – the ADL (Anti-Defamation League). What started out as a body determined to protect Jews from anti-semitic hate crimes, has now been thoroughly hijacked by radical Leftists pushing radical Critical Race Theory beliefs. The results are as expected.
The ADL has changed its definition of racism from “The belief that a particular race or religion is superior or inferior to one another,” to “The marginalization and/or oppression of people of color based on a socially constructed racial hierarchy that privileges white people.”

Remember the term “white-adjacent” mentioned earlier, and it’s easy to see where this is going. Strike off yet another of America’s institutions from your most-trusted list, because the ADL has suddenly decided to cast its lot with the worst purveyors of racism in the country.
The entire Leftist establishment, from the highest levels of the Democratic Party, to cultural institutions and the mass media, have decided that anti-semitism (and racism writ large) is only bad when it serves a purpose – to attack white people. The objective is to foster racial hatred and animosity across the country, through which they can profit off of the power.

For instance, eyebrows are now being raised over Black Lives Matter for having $60 million dollars in the bank, yet no leadership to speak of. This, in conjunction with reports that the group recently purchased a Canadian property previously used as the headquarters for the Communist Party, which is no surprise, given that the founders of BLM are self-admitted “trained Marxists.”
Leftists have been profiting off of racism for decades, as evidenced by prominent race hustlers like Al Sharpton, Robin D’Angelo, and Barack Obama, and wherever there’s big money to be made, there’s plenty of incentive to demonize and destroy those determined to put an end to it.
This is why Florida Governor Ron DeSantis was recently attacked for allowing a handful of Neo Nazi white supremacists to walk around in circles on a grassy knoll, whilst spouting anti-semitic slurs all day long.
It’s fine for BLM to threaten actual, literal violence and bloodshed over things like increased law enforcement, but it’s not Okay for a bunch of “jackasses” (as DeSantis referred to them) to exercise their 1st amendment rights, ugly as they are.

Meanwhile, when a black person with a criminal rap sheet shoves an Asian woman onto the subway tracks, where she meets a grisly demise, the story is suppressed by that same media in order to maintain the lie.
Racism is only tolerated when it comes from the Left, because it serves an agenda. The weapon being used to push that agenda is the concept of intersectional theory, cemented by Critical Race Theory proponents like Kimberlé Crenshaw, which essentially boils down to “all white people are evil oppressors, and everyone else is a minority victim group.”
However, when it became obvious that Asian-Americans were outpacing whites in terms of overall success, the goalposts were suddenly moved, and the pool of oppressors needed to be widened. Hence, Asians and other non-white groups are now being lumped in with “whites.” Jews are no different.
It’s astonishing to listen to Whoopi Goldberg talk about Jews as “white people,” which is a stunningly stupid thing to say. The Jewish people did not start out as “white,” nor are they a homogenous collective today. Rather, Jews come in a lot of different shades, and it would be just as silly to refer to Syrians as “white,” based on the tone of their skin.

During her appearance on Colbert’s show, Goldberg stepped in it once again, nullifying her own lackluster apology in the process. While discussing the controversy, Goldberg essentially outed herself as a virulent racist in an act of astonishing self-ignorance.
“But I thought it was a salient discussion because, as a black person, I think of race as being something that I can see,” Goldberg said. “So I see you, and I know what race you are, and the discussion was about how I felt about that.”

In other words, Whoopi Goldberg looks no further than the color of a person’s skin, which is about as superficial as it gets. This was a gaffe as equally offensive as when current U.S. President Joe Biden said “People don’t make a distinction, as you well know, from a South Korean, and someone from Beijing!”
She then doubled down on her original View take, to the utter shock of a stunned audience, which can be glimpsed in this accurate tweet from Dan O’Donnell:

One has to wonder if Goldberg is lying on purpose, or if she’s truly this ignorant about the Third Reich’s official stance on the Jewish people. Either way, it’s horrible.
The so-called “anti-racists” fighting for “equity” are always the first to expose their own racial animosity and bigoted views, and the frequency of these antics runs parallel to the backlash. The more criticism is levied against the Left, the more that same Left doubles down on the racism. We’re seeing that play out in real time with Whoopi Goldberg.
Yet, in order to maintain the false and deeply racist narrative of intersectional hierarchy, the Left are forced to continually redefine terms, ideas, and yes….even people. The result is a deeply racist venom that continues to pump through the veins of our culture, and it’s taken on a life of its own inside places like Hollywood, comic books, and TV.

Whoopi Goldberg deserves to be fired from The View for spreading what is akin to a defense of Adolf Hitler, but of course, that will only happen if she becomes too much of a liability for the Left, in the same way Andrew Cuomo went from Presidential hopeful to party pariah in record time. Ninety-nine percent of the time, there are no repercussions at all.
In mainstream Leftism, you are never held accountable for spreading openly vile and racist propaganda, tropes or blood libels. Instead, you are at best tut-tutted, then encouraged to pen an empty excuse for an apology, at which point you get right back to “the cause.”

Then, you are able to pass bills in Congress that give protected status to groups that base their entire belief system specifically on the concepts of homophobia, anti-semitism, and other forms of racial discrimination – all things the Left claim to fight against. This is the double-standard game they play, and Americans are getting sick of it.
That’s precisely what will happen here, but take heart – people are noticing. The more the Left double, triple, and quadruple down on open racism, the more people see them for what they really are. For a time, their stage show antics were considered clever. Now, the trick has been revealed, and audiences are getting bored.
The main objective of the Left is to point the finger at everyone else, and accuse them of racism, while sitting back comfortably to sow the seeds of division and hatred across the West. The 2020 riots were considered a turning point in the cultural discussion regarding race, and everything that has transpired since has been working against the Left, not in favor of.

While Goldberg should pay the price for such an outrageous and dangerously racist take on the Holocaust (and racial theory in general) perhaps it’s better that she’s front and center so that Americans can see who the real enemy is. She, along with establishment fomenters of hatred like Ibram X. Kendi, Joy Reid, Wil Wheaton, and Don Lemon (to name but a few) are doing real yeomen’s work for the anti-Left cause.
Yet, it’s stunning how people like Goldberg are so keen to toss Jews under the bus, all for the sake of promoting an ugly false narrative about racial power imbalances in America. It also speaks to a larger and more insidious movement that intends to reshape America through that same lens, which would be a nightmare scenario brought to life.
It’s always important to remember that modern Jew hatred on behalf of the Left is spurred on primarily via intersectional politics. Because Jews are largely successful, they are viewed as oppressors who must have wronged other identity groups that are not as successful. There is no room for geographical distinctions, personal life choices, or extenuating factors.

Nay, the Left prefer to put people into boxes, where they shall remain nameless and faceless. That way, they can compartmentalize and weaponize identity groups like chess pieces on a board. This is how they pretend to avert any accusations of racism, by shifting the focus from skin color, to an issue of societal class.
In short, full-fledged Marxism. That’s always the end goal, which is why organizations like Black Lives Matter are so beloved by the radical Left, and why any institution that stands in direct threat to that ideology must either be hijacked like the AIDS virus infecting a T-Cell, or obliterated outright.
The entire intersectional framework of the Left is deeply dangerous, and it’s going to lead to more hatred, more division, more racism, and (inevitably) more dead bodies piling up in the streets of America’s cities. It’s just that simple.

Perhaps Whoopi Goldberg needs to take a lesson or two (or three) from her Star Trek: TNG character Guinan, who continues to espouse the best of humanity’s traits, as opposed to her insistence on running defense for history’s most notorious mass murderer, all for the sake of propping up a deeply disgusting and offensive ideological framework.
