Terror on the Prairie actress Gina Carano rebuked one of the biggest media lies told about her after The Walt Disney Company and Lucasfilm fired her from The Mandalorian.

Carano was fired via a statement from an anonymous Disney spokesman that stated, “Gina Carano is not currently employed by Lucasfilm and there are no plans for her to be in the future.”

“Nevertheless, her social media posts denigrating people based on their cultural and religious identities are abhorrent and unacceptable,” the spokesman added.

This announcement came after Carano shared a screenshot from warriorpriestgym podcast to her Instagram Stories.

The post read, “Jews were beaten in the streets, not by Nazi soldiers but by their neighbors…even by children.”

It then featured a quote that stated, “Because history is edited, most people today don’t realize that to get to the point where Nazi soldiers could easily round up thousands of Jews, the government first made their own neighbors hate them simply for being Jews. How is that any different from hating someone for their political views?”

Accompanying these words was an image of children wielding blunt weapons chasing down a woman in undress.

On top of this Carano explained what she meant by the post in an interview with Ben Shapiro back in February 2021.

Carano said, “I have been so inspired by the gentle spirit of the Jewish people going through that time and I think I watched this older Holocaust survivor, her court case, they found this old Nazi man and he was old and they rolled him on a stretcher and they really played this up and she forgave. She forgave him in court after putting her through what he did. And she faced him.”

“I’m always so inspired by these stories. And I always wondered how. How did that happen. So when posted that it wasn’t something that I felt like was was controversial . It was something that I thought well maybe all of us need to ask ourselves how that happened. Because it’s important.” she continued.

Carano elaborated, “The post never said anything about Republicans or conservatives. It doesn’t say anything about that in there. It was more like people tearing each other apart. And I thought it would be more of a thing where you bring people together. I was like, ‘Oh this is like, you know, bring people together.'”

Carano later added, “I’ve got every single big publication saying she’s comparing conservatives and Republicans to this and that’s not really what I was doing. I was saying, ‘We as a people.'”

“Because I still am very fresh to this political spectrum. I have love for everyone. I’m not a hateful person. In fact, I go out of my way, and I have gone out of my way my entire life not to be a hateful person,” Carano explained.

Despite these clear facts, media outlets such as Deseret News lied about Carano’s social media post claiming she “compared conservatives with Jewish people and that those with conservative views were just like Jewish people during the Holocaust.”

It wasn’t just media outlets, Twitter also lied about Carano’s social media post when they editorialized discussion comparing Whoopi Goldberg’s two week suspension to Carano’s firing.

Twitter wrote, “Following Whoopi Goldberg’s two-week suspension from The View for comments regarding the Holocaust, people discuss actor Gina Carano’s firing from Disney’s series The Mandalorian for comments comparing COVID-19 restrictions to the Nazis’ treatment of Jewish people.”

Carano would rebuke these lies, and specifically Deseret News’ lie, when she wrote on Twitter, “Have journalists completely given up on research? Nowhere did I say Republicans were being treated like Jews in the Holocaust.”

“I shared a meme, I translated into: Don’t let the government pit you against each other or history tells us that could go wrong,” she added.

YouTuber Ryan Kinel reacted to Carano’s rebuke and lampooned the media, “They decided they’re going to continue to smear Gina Carano to try to distract from what Whoopi Goldberg said.”

Later in the video, Kinel stated, “There’s a bunch of articles that are popping up that are all claiming Gina Carano said something that she absolutely did not. We’ve been over that on this show so many times. Nowhere was she saying, ‘Oh well Jews are just like this. What happened to Jews is just like this. It’s a comparable thing.’ No.

“It’s simply saying when you let the government pit people against each other for perceived differences it can lead to bad things whether that’s over your politics, whether that’s over your jab status, all of these things. But no, you continue to have the media lying about her,” he continued.

Kinel then explains how this lie spread from Twitter to media outlets like Deseret News, “You have Big Tech basically pushing out a complete and total lie. This is the narrative they are setting. Now, you start to have different people running with that as the story. It’s insane, but that’s how it works. So all these media outlets start picking it up and repeating the same thing over and over and over again.”
