Thanks to its licensing by the anime streaming giant, The Rising of the Shield Hero’s second season will also receive a simulcast for English viewers courtesy of Crunchyroll.

Adapting the Spirit Tortoise story from the light novel’s sixth volume, season two of The Rising of the Shield Hero will see the aforementioned trio of heroes and their allies set out to stop the Guardian Beast and its familiars from destroying the world.

A previous key visual released by the series’ production team shows the season’s protagonists preparing to meet their massive foe in battle.
