Not only is Dembrowski, Depp’s sister, but she’s also president of his production company, Infinitum Nihil, and acted as his personal manager throughout his career

During a line of questions by one of Johnny Depp’s lawyers Dembrowski is asked, “What type of travel arrangements did you make for the two of them when they traveled together?”

She responded, “We would get a private plane that took them to whatever the destination was and make sure we had the hotel accommodations taken care of. Part of what we did was to always make sure we anticipated everything. So we would do the travel, hotels, cars, drivers. I would make sure there was an extra hotel room for trips when they would go.”

The lawyer then questioned, “Why did you make sure there was an extra hotel room when Johnny and Ms. Heard went on trips together?”

She replied, “I booked the extra hotel rooms because if Johnny was at home or anywhere like that he was able to — if they argued — he was able to leave the room, leave the argument and go like he’s always done and hide in a different room to get away from it.”

“When they were traveling for different reasons for press or whatever and we booked the hotel rooms I wanted to make sure that there was an extra room because it wasn’t unusual for them to have an argument,” She explained.  “So I wanted to make sure there was an extra room.”

When asked if Depp ever used the extra room, Dembrowski responded, “Yes.”

She would then be asked whose idea it was too book the extra hotel room. She answered, “It was my idea because I saw a repeat happening in life. When we were kids and arguments and fighting started to happen our first thing was to go and hide and get away from it. Since I recognized what felt to be a pattern, a repeat pattern from his childhood, I wanted to make sure that there was a place that he could do just that.”

This last comment would eventually be stricken from the court’s record.

Depp’s lawyer would then ask, “Did you book your brother’s hotel accommodations during the 14 years when he was with Vanessa Paradis?” She replied, “Yes.” When asked if she had ever booked an extra room when he was with Paradis, she answered, “No.”

Dembrowski would admit that she had never heard Depp or Heard get into argument. She also never saw them get into a physical altercation.

While she admitted that she didn’t see them get into an argument or into a physical altercation, she did state that Heard insulted Depp following a meeting with Dior.

After Depp informed her of the meeting with Dior, Dembrowski recalled, “Her reaction to that was she was in disbelief and sort of disgust because she said, ‘Dior? Why would Dior want to do business with you? They are about class and they are about style. And you don’t have style.’ So it was an insulting kind of – taking away that one moment. That insult is there.”

She added, “I’ve seen the insults. Multiple times, actually.” Dembrwoski would also claim that Heard called Depp “an old fat man.”

Depp is suing Heard for a minimum of $50 million for defamation. The lawsuit states, “This defamation action arises from an op-ed published in the Washington Post by actress Amber Heard. In the op-ed, Ms. Heard purported to write from the perspective of a ‘public figure representing domestic abuse’ and claimed that she ‘felt the full force of our culture’s wrath for women who speak out’ when she ‘spoke up against sexual violence.’

As part of the lawsuit, Depp claimed that Heard was a perpetrator of domestic violence claiming, “Ms. Heard committed multiple acts of domestic violence against Mr. Depp during their marriage. Ms. Heard’s physical abuse of Mr. Depp is documented by eyewitness accounts, photographs, and even Ms. Heard’s own admissions under oath.”

It goes on to claim, “Ms. Heard’s domestic abuse of Mr. Depp continued unabated throughout their 15-month marriage. Ms. Heard threw dangerous objects at Mr. Depp, and also kicked and punched him with regularity.”
