Part of a first-look deal between DC/Warner and the service, the drama is a first in Spotify exclusives that are intended to roll out over the next couple of years, regardless of the merger with Discovery and resulting regime change – or so it seems.

Other planned series will reportedly focus on female heroes/antiheroes Catwoman, Wonder Woman, Batgirl (possibly played again by Rodriguez though it’s not mentioned), and Lois Lane.
