Film scooper and YouTuber Grace Randolph took to Twitter to defame The Mandalorian and Terror on the Prairie actress Gina Carano.

Reacting to the claims made by Obi-Wan Kenobi actress Moses Ingram regarding the comments she’s received following her own statements in Vanity Fair, Randolph tweeted, “Yes, you can critique Star Wars actors & characters. NO, race & gender are NOT valid criticisms, and under NO CIRCUMSTANCES should you harass ANY talent in front or behind the camera.”

She added, “I hope Moses Ingram stays on social media – she’s badass and is great on Obi-Wan.”

Randolph would then respond to a user who wrote, “Unless your Gina Carano I guess.”

She replied, “Gina Carano made antisemitic and anti-trans statements – REPEATEDLY.”

Randolph’s tweet is a complete and utter lie. Gina Carano never made anti-Semitic statements nor anti-trans statements.

Back in August 2020, Carano was accused of racism after she shared an historical anti-Nazi photo that many believe is German laborer August Landmesser refusing to give the Nazi salute to Adolf Hitler during a 1936 rally celebrating the launch of the Horst Wessel, a Germain sail training ship.

In September 2020 she would then be accused of transphobia because she allegedly “liked” a tweet that mocked users who listed their pronouns in their bio. A week after that she would be labeled transphobic for refusing to put her own pronouns in her bio.

Carano would explain she had a conversation about putting pronouns in her bio, but still would not be participating in the trend.

She wrote on Twitter, “Yes, Pedro & I spoke & he helped me understand why people were putting them in their bios. I didn’t know before but I do now. I won’t be putting them in my bio but good for all you who choose to. I stand against bullying, especially the most vulnerable & freedom to choose.”

While Carano refused to put her pronouns in her bio, she did update it with beep/bop/boop. She explained why she was facing increased harassment, “They’re mad cuz I won’t put pronouns in my bio to show my support for trans lives. After months of harassing me in every way. I decided to put 3 VERY controversial words in my bio…beep/bop/boop.”

“I’m not against trans lives at all. They need to find less abusive representation,” Carano added.

Carano would go on to detail that she faced harassing tweets for months calling her all kinds of names.

She tweeted, “I don’t think trans people would like all of you trying to force a woman to put something in her bio through harassment & name calling EVERYDAY for MONTHS. Such as ‘Racist’ ‘Transphobe’ ‘B****’ ‘Weirdo’ ‘I hope you die’ ‘I hope you lose your career’ ‘your fat, you’re ugly’.”

Carano would eventually be fired by Lucasfilm and The Walt Disney Company after she posted a photo warning of the dangers of hating your neighbor to her Instagram Stories.

A Lucasfilm spokesman issued a statement to trade outlets about the firing. It read, “Gina Carano is not currently employed by Lucasfilm and there are no plans for her to be in the future.”

The spokesman added, “Nevertheless, her social media posts denigrating people based on their cultural and religious identities are abhorrent and unacceptable.”

A similar post to Carano’s was also shared by the Auschwitz Memorial back in 2018. It read, “When we look at Auschwitz we see the end of the process. It’s important to remember that the Holocaust actually did not start from gas chambers. This hatred gradually developed from words, stereotypes & prejudices through legal exclusion, dehumanisation & escalating violence.”

Carano would also address all of this during a lengthy interview with Ben Shapiro on The Ben Shapiro show.

When discussing the pronoun controversy, Carano said, “I ended putting beep bop boop in my Twitter bio and it was 100% to go to the Twitter mob that was telling you what to do, and it had zero to do with trying to go after the transgender community because I would never do that.”

She later explained, “And so as soon as I saw people started taking that wrong, you know I put right after that, I was like, ‘No, beep bop boop was like me just saying,’ — I literally said to my friend, I was like, ‘Let’s put something in my bio just to show I can put whatever I want in my bio.’ Just like they put whatever they want in their bio like trash panda and all of this stuff. So I just put these noises in my bio and then there was this crazy meltdown.”

As the interview progressed, she addressed the Instagram Story post warning about the dangers of hating your neighbor.

Carano told Shapiro, “I have been so inspired by the gentle spirit of the Jewish people going through that time. And I think I watched this older Holocaust survivor, her court case, and they found this old Nazi man and he was old and they rolled him in on a stretcher and really played this up. And she forgave him. She forgave him in court after putting her through what he did. And she faced him. And I’m always so inspired by these stories and I always wondered like how, how did that happen.”

“So when I posted that it wasn’t something that I felt like was controversial,” Carano explained. “It was something that I thought, ‘Well, maybe all of us need to ask ourselves how that happened because, you know, it’s important.'”

“The post  never said anything about Republicans or conservatives. It doesn’t say anything about that in there. It was more about people tearing each other apart. I thought it would be more of thing where you bring people together,” she said.
