Prime Video Announces Free Theatrical Screenings For ‘The Lord Of The Rings: The Rings Of Power,’ YouTuber Describes It As “Vile Tactic”

Prime Video announced they will be offering free theatrical screenings for the first two episodes of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power and one YouTuber believes it’s a ploy in order for Amazon to claim they sold out the theaters.

The official The Lord of the Rings on Prime Twitter account announced the theatrical screenings writing, “For one night only on August 31, experience the first two episodes of The Rings of Power.”

They also directed people interested in the free screening to visit TROPFanScreening.com in order to locate a participating theater near them.

YouTuber European Lore believes tickets will be sold out very quickly and Prime Video will use that to promote how much interest the show has.

He explains, “They are not doing it because they want to be nice to people. They are doing it so that they can claim theaters, which showed the premiere of The Rings of Power got full. The tickets were sold out within minutes. And let me assure they will be. They will be gone in a couple of minutes. Do you know why? Because it’s free and people love free stuff.”

“It doesn’t matter what it is it,” he continued. “If it was a screening of the latest Minions movie, if it was a screening of She-Hulk, if it was a screening of every other garbage piece of entertainment that is being released by any crap movie company or filmmaking company there is, it would be sold out in a couple of minutes because it’s free.”

“It’s a very vile tactic,” he then asserted.

Later in the video he predicts, “Mark my words and remember, remember what European Lore said. When the time comes and when August the 31st approaches we will read a news piece about it in one of the shill media outlets. That all the screenings all around the world in the 200 theaters all U.S., Canada, U.K., Ireland, Argentina, and Columbia, etc… have been sold out and that it was an extreme success.”

“Because of course, a lot of these tickets are reserved for the shills and the critics. And of course that the ratings and the scorings and the reviews will differ between the critics and the fans. Critics will love it,” he said.

Again, he predicted, “Mark my words, once again, this is my prediction it will come to pass. Critics will praise this show to the heavens themselves because why wouldn’t they? They are all paid for. They are paid. And if not by money then by clout and attention, exclusive content, the ability to go see these things as first, and pump up their own numbers and clicks and views and reads of their articles.”

“It is a very good business move, you have to admit,” he says.
