Grace Randolph Claims Zachary Levi’s ‘Shazam!’ Contract Not Being Renewed

Zachary Levi is said to be done as Shazam following the cryptic anti-Pfizer tweets that got him in hot water over the weekend, though they might not be the ultimate reason he is leaving. This update comes from YouTuber and scooper Grace Randolph who touched on the subject of Levi and claimed the issue is contract-related.

Under the new DC Studio regime of James Gunn and Peter Safran, there are a lot of turnovers and Randolph says they simply aren’t renewing. “What’s going on with Zachary Levi? Zachary Levi is a very religious individual. I saw somebody tweet, ‘Zachary Levi is what you accuse Chris Pratt of being,’” she said in her latest vlog.

“And I don’t know if everyone is wrong about Chris Pratt, but it seems as if Zachary Levi is cut from the same cloth as Chris Pratt, down to being even a bit of an evangelist,” she continued. “But he’s not DC’s problem anymore, at least not for a very long time as I heard that Shazam is done.”

Randolph adds that this situation will be handled similarly to the way Henry Cavill’s position was – without using the word “fired.” “Again, James Gunn will not have to say he fired anybody, he’s just not going to continue with the contracts. There’s no contract for more movies so he’s just not going to renew it,” she claimed.

Randolph kind of predicted Cavill would be gone from Superman despite his scene in Black Adam and she was sadly proven accurate. Likewise, Gunn is full steam ahead on his reboot of DC on film, which includes a clean slate for Superman as part of the agenda. No one has been cast yet, however, despite rumors, according to Gunn.

Zachary Levi got himself into trouble with cancel culture just in time for his big movie’s release when he responded “Hardcore agree” in response to controversial entrepreneur Lyndon Wood begging this question on Twitter: “Do you agree or not, that Pfizer is a real danger to the world?”

Levi continued and would provide receipts for his stance.

The actor followed up with a link to a Justice Department press release from 2009 demonstrating the pharmaceutical company was slapped with a $2.3 billion fine for damages related to fraudulent marketing. This was, as Levi put it, “Just one example of what I’m referring to…” with no mention of vaccines or COVID or anything typically triggering.

That hasn’t stopped the disappointed and mostly left-wing social media accounts from targeting him and maligning Levi as “anti-vax” or “supporting anti-vax propaganda,” says Fox News. Levi also had nice things to say about Jordan Peterson that Twitter was compelled to dig up.

How any of this will affect Shazam!: Fury of the Gods or the franchise going forward remains to be seen.
