‘Painkiller Jane’ Creator Jimmy Palmiotti Wants U.S. Politicians To Focus On The “F***ing Real-World Problems Like Pollution, Crime, And Poverty” Rather Than The Evil Of Drag Shows And Abortion

Painkiller Jane creator Jimmy Palmiotti recently took to Twitter to question why U.S. politicians are focusing on issues like drag shows and abortions rather than what he describes as “f***ing real-world problems like pollution, crime, and poverty.”

Palmiotti wrote on Twitter, “Can politicians back away from Children, drag shows, book banning, and abortions… and focus on the f***ing real-world problems like Pollution, crime, and poverty already?”
He added, “Where have all the responsible adults gone?”

In response to a user asking if he has kids, Palmiotti replied, “I have children in my life & that is why we need these politicians to focus on other things & let parents have choices they can make for their own children. A woman’s body is her own & her choice of what to do with it. We can start there and keep going, but my post says it all.”

In a response to another user who replied, “Being a responsible adult include the protection of the innocents,” Palmiotti tweeted, “Agree and this culture war bulls**t isn’t making the world a better place for them to live. It is a distraction.”

Despite Palmiotti questioning where have all the responsible adults gone, when he was briefly challenged on his initial statement he provided contradictory answers revealing his original comment or question is not to be taken serious.
On the one hand, Palmiotti is promoting the murdering and butchering of a human life under the false guise of “a woman’s body is her own & her choice what to do with it.” However, just a minute later, he’s agreeing that the protection of the innocent is a requirement of a responsible adult. You can’t have it both ways. You can’t argue for mass murder of the most innocent in our society and then claim responsible adults must protect them. Clearly, he has no clue what he’s talking about.

That out of the way, trying to claim that drag shows and abortion are somehow lesser issues than crime, pollution, and poverty reveals a lack of moral character.
The Catechism of the Catholic Church explains, “Human life must be respected and protected absolutely from the moment of conception. From the first moment of his existence, a human being must be recognized as having the rights of a person—among which is the inviolable right of every innocent being to life.”
It further asserts, “Since the first century the Church has affirmed the moral evil of every procured abortion. This teaching has not changed and remains unchangeable. Direct abortion, that is to say, abortion willed either as an end or a means, is gravely contrary to the moral law.”

Furthermore the Catechism states, “The inalienable right to life of every innocent human individual is a constitutive element of a civil society and its legislation: ‘The inalienable rights of the person must be recognized and respected by civil society and the political authority. These human rights depend neither on single individuals nor on parents; nor they represent a concession made by society and the state; they belong to human nature and are inherent in the person by virtue of the creative act from which the person took his origin. Among such fundamental rights one should mention in this regard every human being’s right to life and physical integrity from the moment of conception until death.'”
“‘The moment a positive law deprives a category of human beings of the protection which civil legislation out to accord them, the state is denying the equality of all before the law. When the state does not place its power at the service of the rights of each citizen, and in particular of the more vulnerable, the very foundations of a state based on law are undermined….As a consequence of the respect and protection which must be ensured for the unborn child from the moment of conception, the law must provide appropriate penal sanctions for every deliberate violation of the child’s rights,'” it asserts.
Thus advocating for abortion or the murder of an innocent child undermines the law and leads to other problems that Palmiotti believes are more paramount such as crime.

Bishop Strickland of Tyler, Texas also notes, “Abortion is not just a Catholic issue, it is a humanity issue. Even if one has no faith in God they know that Abortion is wrong because it attacks the very fabric of humanity.”
“For 100 years the evil of abortion has been embraced more & more, how humanity has suffered,” he lamented.

As for drag shows, they are clearly putting innocent souls in danger, Bill Donohue at Catholic League notes that Drag Queen Story Hour and events like it “were founded to promote an agenda, the goal of which is to normalize aberrant sexual behavior.”
And as the Catechism notes, “In Sacred Scripture the term ‘soul’ often refers to human life or the entire human person. But ‘soul’ also refers to the innermost aspect of man, that which is of greatest value in him, that by which he is most especially in God’s image: ‘soul’ signifies the spiritual principle in man.”

Thus it can safely be said that those who are most active in fighting back against the evil of abortion and drag shows are being responsible adults. But that’s not to say they can’t work on rooting out crime, pollution, and poverty as well. It’s not as if these issues are mutually exclusive.
