Batman Becomes The Dark Prince Charming In New Graphic Novel By Enrico Marini!
Batman will become The Dark Prince Charming in a new graphic novel by Enrico Marini expected to hit comic book shelves this November.
The book will feature Batman and his arch-nemesis Joker and the secret connection they share about a strange and mysterious young girl. The story will send Batman into the depths of Gotham City’s underworld in a race against time after Joker kidnaps the young girl. Batman must find out where Joker is hiding her before it’s too late. The stakes are high and this mission will be personal for Batman.
If you haven’t heard of Enrico Marini yet, you are in for a treat. Marini is well known in the European comic book art world for his French-language comics Le Scorpion, Eagles of Rome, and Gipsy. And the art for his upcoming Batman: The Dark Prince Charming looks absolutely gorgeous.

Marini talked about his love for Batman. “What I like about him. He’s so graphic. I like his double identity. Who wouldn’t want to be Batman. I like the design of his costume. I like the ambiance, the atmosphere, this dark city of Gotham. I like Gotham.”
He then described his art process. “My technique is the same as ever. I work on paper with pencils, brush, and ink, and then liquid acrylics. It’s a little bit old fashioned.”

Batman: The Dark Prince Charming hits comic book stores on November 1, 2017. The second part of the story should debut sometime in spring 2018. Both Volumes of Batman: The Dark Prince Charming will be available in oversized (7.0625” x 10.875”) paper-over-boards (hardcover) collectors editions.
