Latest Avengers: Infinity War Clip Shows Huge Battle Between Black Order and Avengers!
The latest Avengers: Infinity War clip aired on Jimmy Kimmel Live! last night and shows an absolutely epic battle between the Black Order and a number of the Avengers. This clip was teased during the second trailer and we got to see most of this scene during Good Morning America last week, but now we are getting a little bit more of an extended look at the scene.
The clip begins with the scene from the second trailer as Black Widow slices Corvus Glaive’s legs. She then guts him right in the chest before doing an acrobatic maneuver and kicking him down to the ground. After she incapacitates Corvus Glaive, Proxima Midnight joins the fray and calls Widow’s weapon to her. It appears Black Widow was using Midnight’s spear. As Midnight is about to kill Black Widow, Captain America shows up and breaks up the killing blow. Midnight takes both Cap and Black Widow for a little bit before Falcon swoops in and kicks her in the face.
I’m still not really digging this scene. These are supposed to Thanos’ top lieutenants. They are member of his Black Order. Even if you’ve never read a Marvel Comic, you would think they could easily take down Black Widow. Black Widow is just a human. She has no super soldier serum. She doesn’t have a suit of armor. She is simply an elite human spy. The fact that she’s able to take down Glaive is just ridiculous to me. This might actually be on the level of Kylo Ren getting roasted by Rey in The Force Awakens. At least Kylo Ren had been shot by Chewbacca’s blaster bolt beforehand.
I hope the Black Order is able to redeem themselves when we see them action in Avengers: Infinity War. I want to see them to do some significant damage to the Avengers. And it’s possible Glaive and Midnight might have done so. We know Shuri has been examining Vision as there appears to be something wrong with the android.
Here’s to hoping the Black Order aren’t pushovers like they appear to be in this clip.
Avengers: Infinity War comes out on April 27, 2018.
