New Justice League Clip Shows Extended Fight Scene With Our Best Look at Steppenwolf Yet!

Steppenwolf

Last week, a low-res clip showed an extended fight scene between the Justice League and Steppenwolf and his parademon army. The clipped aired on Telemundo’s Una Nueva Dia program. It was our first real shot of seeing Steppenwolf in action for a significant period of time.

DC with the help of YouTube, Twitter, and Facebook was quick to scrub that low-res version from the face of the internet.

However, we’ve got a brand new clip that gives us even more of the extended fight between Steppenwolf and the Justice League. While the beginning of the clip is still without Aquaman, Jason Momoa’s King of Atlantis makes an appearance and looks to save the day as Gotham Harbor comes rushing into devour the League. He plants his trident into the ground and commands the water to stop. The clip ends as the power of the water looks to overwhelm him.

The clip starts at the :15 second mark. Unfortunately, it skips the part where Steppenwolf is taking on Wonder Woman one-on-one and Flash getting carried away by the parademons.

However, we get more of Cyborg as he takes over the damaged Bat-Tank from Alfred and attempts to launch a missile at Steppenwolf. Steppenwolf easily catches the missile and then in one of the most sinister voices I’ve ever heard calls them “primitive beings.”
