Vertigo Comics artist Richard Pace tried to defend Rian Johnson’s Star Wars: The Last Jedi and his depiction of Luke Skywalker by arguing “Luke’s actions in the last film are completely in character with what what he learned in ESB [Empire Strike’s Back] and how he acted in ROTJ [Return of the Jedi]. Star Wars fans weren’t buying the argument and promptly roasted him.

The Last Jedi director Rian Johnson is no stranger to stirring up trouble. He’s recently referred to a large group of Star Wars fans who didn’t like The Last Jedi as “manbabies.” Now, he believes the criticism stems from GamerGate and ComicsGate.

Mark Hamill still disagrees with Rian Johnson’s version of Luke Skywalker in Star Wars: The Last Jedi and he describes what J.J. Abrams would have done.

A Twitter account called “Remake The Last Jedi” announced they plan to remake The Last Jedi in order to save Star Wars. Seth Rogen and Chuck Wendig fell for it. Hard.
