The one thing that we sometimes miss in our writing when talking about the actors who portray heroes on screen, is how they highlight some of the best qualities they portray on the big screen with their real world actions. We got to see that happen this past Palm Sunday.
The official Shazam! movie logo has arrived. Shazam! is directed by David F. Sandberg and stars Zachary Levi as Shazam or DC Comics’ Captain Marvel. Opposing Levi’s Captain Marvel is Mark Strong’s Doctor Sivana.

We recently got our first look at Zachary Levi’s Shazam in full costume last week, but now we actually get to see him in action. Twitter user Jeremy Lawrence caught an action scene of Levi’s Shazam in action across the street from his apartment.
Zachary Levi took to Instagram to reveal Batman will be making a cameo in the Shazam! film! Levi posted a photo of a Batman action figure with the caption, “Look who makes a cameo in Shazam…”
