Fox Debuts Trailer for Lucifer
An adaptation of Neil Gaiman’s Lucifer is set to hit your television very soon. The show will be on Fox where a bored Lucifer Morningstar (Tom Ellis) has abandoned Hell to make his home in Los Angeles.
After a brutal murder outside of his upscale nightclub, something is awakened within Lucifer’s soul. He begins to feel compassion and sympathy which deeply disturbs him and his confidante Mazikeen aka Maze (Lesley-Ann Brandt).
The murder introduces Lucifer to LAPD homicide detective Chloe Dancer (Lauren German). She becomes fascinated by his ability to bring out individual’s hidden secrets as well as his zeal for justice. While he is attracted to her purity and goodness. As their relationship progresses Lucifer begins to question whether his own soul can be saved.
Meanwhile, God has sent the angel Amenadiel (DB Woodside) to persuade Lucifer to return to his kingdom. Without his watchful eye, the demons and tortured souls have begun to make their presence felt on Earth. Lucifer finds himself split between Good and Evil. Which side will he choose?
Lucifer will be coming to television in 2016 on Fox.
