GoFundMe Launched by Fandom Menace to Celebrate the Life of ThatStarWarsGirl’s Sister Ellen
The Fandom Menace has launched a GoFundMe campaign to celebrate the life of ThatStarWarsGirl’s sister Ellen.
The campaign was created by Siobhan Frederick, the Geeks and Gamers Community Manager who writes:
“Ellen was 22 years old when she passed away. We still don’t have all the details on what happened. The family needs your help in this difficult time. Thank you in advance for respecting their privacy and for supporting them.”
ThatStarWarsGirl’s sister Ellen was reported missing on June 25th and had not been seen since June 23rd.
This is my little sister. It’s her birthday today. She’s 22. I woke up to the news she’s missing. My brother and I are trying to figure out a way to track her through her phone but I’m still scared and insanely worried. Could everyone please retweet this so we can find her 🙏 https://t.co/Qq1PpeILUE

A number of members of the Fandom Menace would express their condolences and promote the GoFundMe.
Sorry everyone, but out of respect to Anna we have cancelled The Inquisition for tonight. Love you all, love to Anna and her family.
See you next week.

I can’t livestream about this. It would be the saddest livestream in the world. I’m talking to others in the FM about how to get the word out about this GoFundMe, which is really all we can do as a community…I’m lost. https://t.co/0tuOBhJf5Q

The GoFundMe has currently raised nearly $26,000 in less than 24 hours.
In fact, Jeremy from Geeks and Gamers reported the GoFundMe reached its goal in less than 5 hours.
I’m holding back tears as I type this – in less than 5 hours we’ve nearly hit 100% of our goal.
Thank you everyone. This is for Anna and Ellen 🙏 https://t.co/fV0xnLkxSN
