Disney Releases 11 New Lion King Posters Alongside New TV Spot: “The One True King”

Disney released 11 brand new Lion King posters featuring all of your favorite characters including Simba, Nala, Mufasa, Timon, Pumbaa, and more.
Along with these 11 new posters, which you can see below, they also released a brand new Lion King TV spot, where James Earl Jones’ Mufasa reminds Simba that he is “the one true king.”

Here’s Disney’s official description of the film:
“Disney’s “The Lion King, directed by Jon Favreau (“The Jungle Book”), journeys to the African savanna where a future king is born. Simba idolizes his father, King Mufasa, and takes to heart his own royal destiny. But not everyone in the kingdom celebrates the new cub’s arrival. Scar, Mufasa’s brother—and former heir to the throne—has plans of his own. The battle for Pride Rock is ravaged with betrayal, tragedy and drama, ultimately resulting in Simba’s exile. With help from a curious pair of newfound friends, Simba will have to figure out how to grow up and take back what is rightfully his.”
The film is directed by Iron Man and The Mandalorian’s Jon Favreau. It features Donald Glover, Seth Rogen, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Alfre Woodard, Billy Eichner, John Kani, John Oliver, Florence Kasumba, Eric André, Keegan-Michael Key, JD McCrary, Shahadi Wright Joseph, with Beyoncé Knowles-Carter and James Earl Jones.
The Lion King comes to theaters on July 19, 2019.
