Sylvester Stallone brings the action in the first trailer for Lionsgate’s Rambo: Last Blood.

Rambo Last Blood

We had previously got a first look at the film back in October of last year.

Stallone has been providing some teases as well as behind the scenes looks at Rambo: Last Blood on his Instagram account.

Here’s the official synopsis for the film:

“Almost four decades after he drew first blood, Sylvester Stallone is back as one of the greatest action heroes of all time, John Rambo. Now, Rambo must confront his past and unearth his ruthless combat skills to exact revenge in a final mission. A deadly journey of vengeance, RAMBO: LAST BLOOD marks the last chapter of the legendary series.”

The film stars Sylvester Stallone, Paz Vega, Sergio Peris Mencheta, Adrianna Barrazza, Yvette Monreal, Genie Kim, Joacquin Cosio, and Oscar Jaenada.

Rambo Last: Blood is directed by Adrian Grunberg based off a screenplay written by Matthew Cirulnick and Sylvester Stallone. Rambo is based of the character created by David Morrell.

Rambo: Last Blood will hit theaters on September 20, 2019.

The first Rambo film, Rambo: First Blood, debuted all the way back in October of 1982 and starred Stallone as John Rambo. The movie would spawn one of the greatest action franchises ever with Rambo: First Blood Part II, Rambo III, and Rambo. Rambo: Last Blood will be the fifth film in the franchise.

Rambo: First Blood Part II was the most successful at the box office bringing in over $300 million worldwide back in 1985. It’s in the Top 200 highest grossing films of all time. The most recent installment, Rambo, which was released in 2008 brought in only $113 million at the global box office.
