Today’s cosplay of the day is Andais of Unseelie as Magic: The Gathering’s Liliana Vess.

Magic: The Gathering’s Liliana Vess uses her black mana to reanimate the dead, derive power from death, and corrupt the living.
She grew up in Benalia on Dominaria and was tutored by Lady Ana in healing magics. However, she also began dabbling in the dark arts of necromancy and death manipulation. She would unlock her planeswalker spirit when she attempted to cure her brother Josu. However, her cure involved necromancy and would drive her brother mad forcing her to raise zombies in order to dispatch him.
Upon unlocking her planeswalker spirit she was transported to Innistrad where she continued to pursue necromancy under vampires and liches.
Most recently, Liliana was made the Dreadhorde’s general by Bolas, the most powerful of the seven Elder Dragons to survive the Elder Dragon War. She leads his army of Eternals, but attempts to inflict as minimal damage as possible. Instead of having Oketra shoot and kill Gideon, she kills his pegasus instead.
She would eventually betray Bolas and use her magic to send her undead forces against Bolas. In order, to survive Giden grants her his invulnerability and she commands Bontu and Oketra to attack Bolas. Bontu is able to get in a decisive bite on Bolas and extract his sparks. However, he ends up dying unable to absorb the power of all the sparks.
Following the War of the Spark, Liliana is devastated due to Gideon’s death. However, she would take Bolas’s Spirit-Gem and planeswalk to an undisclosed location. She is currently being hunted by Kaya due to her actions in The War of the Spark.
