New Rumor Provides Details on Spider-Man: Far From Home Post-Credit Scene – Involves Robert Downey Jr.’s Iron Man

Rumors are flying wild about Sony and Marvel’s Spider-Man: Far From Home post-credit scene and the latest involves Iron Man aka Tony Stark played by Robert Downey Jr.

The rumor comes from reddit user tedsan3 who posted on the MarvelStudiosSpoilers subreddit.

Tedsan3 claims that the post credit scene will involve Peter Parker getting an Artificial Intelligence for his new Spider-Man suit. And the AI will have a familiar voice. It will be Tony Stark’s voice. In fact, when Peter puts on the new suit, the AI in Tony’s voice will say, “Hey Kid.”

A previous alleged leak of the post-credit scene indicated it involved a comedic scene between Jon Faverau’s Happy Hogan and Peter Parker. It’s possible this alleged leak and rumor could be related. Happy Hogan was Tony Stark’s driver, assistant, and bodyguard for years. It’s quite possible he might know if Tony created a brand new Spider-Man suit for Peter Parker and give it to him in the post-credit scene.

However, BuzzFeed reporter Michael Blackmon, who appears to have seen the movie, indicated the “post-credits scene will make fans of the original Tobey Maguire movies nostalgic.”

Having Tony Stark be an AI for Peter Parker doesn’t really scream nostalgia for fans of the original Spider-Man films with Tobey Maguire. Now, if the AI was Tobey Maguire that could work. But I think Spider-Man: Far From Home will see Spider-Man move away from his reliance on Tony Stark’s inventions. It’s more than likely Parker will set out to forge his own equipment after potentially being betrayed by Jake Gyllenhaal’s Mysterio, who appears to deploy his own technology.

What do you think is going to happen in the Spider-Man: Far From Home post-credit scene? Do you plan on seeing Spider-Man: Far From Home? What are you looking forward to?
